Description
A 50 weapons add on pack for DM's/Module Creators to use as you see fit. Some weapons created to possibly fit in to some of the Forgotte Realms history, but most were made for fun in my spare time. Enjoy and have fun.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 9 that made this score of 7.00 then rounded to 7.

Good news to all those that downloaded the 50 Weapons ERF!
It seems to import wonderfully with the new 1.28 patch. I
applied the patch and imported the erf over and over and
over without it crashing...thanks for those who have been
patient and enjoy!

Well, I guess the 50 weapons work FINE when in a module,
so if anyone would like me to upload these in a smalle
empty module, let me know cause I can do that. I don't
know if the .erf is giving everyone problems, but I know
it gave my tester problems as well, but he said it worked
in a module just fine, just importing caused the error. So
if its an unstability issue with the toolset that would
explain it otherwise, anyone that wants this in a module
form either post here or email me. Sorry for any problems
people. Thanks.

I'm not sure if what I experienced is related to the
problems you all have been having with this hak, but I get
an access violation error often when I try to load the
toolset with a module containing a hak, when there's an
updated version of that hak in my hak directory. If I put
the updated hak in a temp directory, then load the module
in the toolset and UNassign the hak, exit the toolset, move
the new hak into the hak directory, reload the module and
reassign the hak, it works fine. Hope this helps.

Hey Tim, thats happened to me before, we should report
this to Bioware as a bug! Its happened to me on simply
editing an area transition! Well, I redid the 50 weapons
from scratch gang, and I hate to say it, but get this... I
did an empty module, REMADE the weapons, (no hak pak in
memory or the module either, just a blank area), I
exported the erf and sent it to my friend that got the
error too to test it...same error! BUT, I sent him the
weapons in a module, NO PROBLEMS, the weapons were there!!
What the heck, GHOST in the MACHINE or in the ERF? There
has to be a reason for this, Bioware Help! And I am using
Win XP Pro as well! So anyone downloading this ERF be
forwarned people are getting errors, I don't know weather
to tear this down or try and troubleshoot the error and
inform Bioware. I really apologize! I dont see people
having any problems with my 63 weapons erf or 76 items and
armor erf's. UGH!!!

if you could add your weapons to the custom treasure table
i would certainly download this one. It`s now simply too
much work to add this to my mod without seriously screwing
up balance stuff while if its in the scripted item-tables
there wouldn`t be a balancing issue. I created a custom
item table for all the custom stuff i created also and it
isn`t really hard. 50 extra custom weapons is awesome but
also abit much to place it in a module.
And about the error, i get it when I edit a characters
inventory in the toolset sometimes, when i hit ok it
simply restarts the computer :( (IN WINDOW XP!!!)

THIS has to be one of the STRANGEST things I have ever
experienced!! UGH! I think the file gets possessed or
something in TRANSFER! Ok...This is what I am going to do
gang...I will remake the pack from scratch, as one of my
testers got an error as well, but mine imports etc and
compiles no problem...so watch for a new pack, I really
apologize as I cannot figure out why its doing this,
hopefully the new pack won't.

Well it being 1\10\2003 I re-downloaded the 50 Weapons Add-
On and unzipted to my erf folder. I had made sure I
deleted the one that was there first becasue I was geting
the same error as follows: Access Violation at 00561c42 in
Module 'NWTOOLSET.EXE' Read of address FFFFFFF. AS I
stated I re downloaded and when importing I got this access
violation again. I am running the current verstion of NWN
and also am running windows 98SE.

Ok...I had one tester have the same error, so I repacked
the ERF and updated it, I don't know how quickly the files
get updated but you can try to redownload it and see if it
works. Maybe it got corrupted on the upload, but I didnt
get any violation errors when I used it. Sorry for the
trouble.

I have a couple people testing it out for me on their
machines, but I imported the .erf, did some scripting, and
compiled the module and it worked fine for me. If the
testers have any trouble I will redo the pack.

Ok I am going to look into it...will post back here after
testing it out and having someone else test it. Hopefully
nothing major, but IF I have to remake the pack I will.
Thanks for the info guys.

I get that error when I'm writing scripts.....
Posted by MasterM ( ..xxx.xxx ) at 2003-01-07 05:44:00
I get the same toolset error and I use patch 1.27.
Did you have a hakpak in the module that you made these
items in? If you did that may be the problem. I hope this
gets fixed, I would love to try the pack out.
Keep it up.

During the custom item palette load up I get the following
error:
Access violation at address 00561c42 in
module 'NWTOOLSET.exe'. Read of address FFFFFFFF.
when you hit ok, Toolset freezes.
This is the only .erf that this has ever done this on.
Perhaps you can post it inside a module? Otherwise, it's
not a problem, I just won't use em.

Darkeagle, I downloaded it from the site and imported the
erf without any problems...is anyone else having this
problem? Let me know if so please. Darkeagle, my toolset
is 1.27 patched, don't know if that makes a difference.

Tried three times to download and all three times .erf
hangs up and will not import.
Resubmit please.
