Tired of the plain and boring neverwinter items? Want more choices, but don't feel like making them yourself? Look no further. Magic Items v .50 offers 134 new items, created by me. Each weapon, suit of armor, etc has been enhanced for maximum color enhancement. Not all of the items have descriptions and the items aren't tagged the way I would prefer, which is uniform. Ideas and fixes are appreciated. Next update should include over 300 items, many taken from BG, BGII, ID and IDII.

I will be waiting the next pack. ^^ _________________________ It's not important what you achieve in your life. What is important is that what you leave behind when you die.
All good and stuff but think of the blueprint ref tho, a lot of this stuff have the nwn refs and that could bring truble for PW users. _________________________ Head Builder of Moonlight & Shadows

New version should be out soon. I'm sterilizing most of the descriptions, so they have to 'realm' to speak of. I've been pretty busy as of late, so I haven't really worked on them much.
Summoning items are going to be removed, due to a bug in my summoning script that I haven't located. If all goes well, however, you will be able to create a multitude of summoning items, all using a single script. Neater that way.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 2 that made this score of 5.50 then rounded to 6.

Thank you for taking the time to create something and add value to this game. Personally I think more artists should be involved in making content. I'd much rather spend the precious moments of my life not creating loads of custom items for modules, especially when something like this is available for download (why spend an hour of my time making all these items when I can spend two minutes downloading and importing?). If I don't like it, I won't use it. I've still saved time. Many hands make the work light. I look forward to version 1.0.

JoJo if you're gonna +blocked+ about 230k, I seriously pity you for the fraction of your life that you 'wasted' downloading this...Obviously that minute or so you spent downloading this could have saved a life, right?
Get a life.

First off, I'm not pinning this to Rome. None of my comments were directed towards her. I just found it offensive that Berry didn't even bother to even LOOK at it. No, he just talked shit, 'cos he could.
Making a second set would be tedious. Far easier to just let people take what they want and then add their own background, if they don't like mine.
Secondly, this set was only to *ADD* to, as JoJo put it, the 'worthless drivel' that Bioware gave us with the bland and unimaginative items that are stock.
At least *I* download the script, mod, prefab, whatever to see what it's like. I test it. I see if it's something that I like and want to use. I don't just get on sites like this to talk +blocked+ to people, 'cos I get off on it.
While I am all for constructive criticism, when I offer something to a site and some +blocked+wad doesn't even bother to look at it, but has the nerve to tell me that I have been using .01% of my 'brain power' on it, I have a tendency to get a bit miffed.
I made most of the armors for one reason: So that first level fighter or thief or whatever could wear something other than ONE color armors.
To those that offered me thanks and insight, I appreciate it. It's people like YOU that made me upload this in the first place: Giving back to what I was given.
JoJo and Berry, the next time you decide to smack someone for ATTEMPTING to better the game, take the time to download the whopping 250k first. God forbid you have to wait a whopping minute or two on freaking dialup.

Rome wasn't flaming you, I think. ;) I didn't interpret it that way. I think she's saying that it's good not all items have descriptions for the reasons you said, and I appreciate the work here. Saves people like having to make a lot of items for modules.

Oh jeez... more +blocked+. I agree with Berry! Why waste all this 'talent', Arikel, when you could have saved me 230k worth of download space?
Pssh.
Also, Rome offered some significant advise and insights. Don't lump him with those of us who despise this kind of worthless drivel.
Troll on!

I don't think Rome was flaming; he was merely offering a constructive suggestion. Can't say the same for the other guy.

hail, i DID download it, haven't looked at it yet, and all i can say is thank you for your work and time involved. packs like these are extremely valuable to people putting up servers who don't have a team working on the project. it's more time i can dedicate to scripting and building areas. having bulk items that i can insert into random loot drops is very handy. nevermind what those [insert yer favorite cuss word] had to say, keep up the good work, it's more than they had to contibute to the community. i'll be back to vote.

Arikel,
I haven't downloaded your material yet, but let me say thanks for the effort. There are those out here that do appreciate your contribution to the game.

Did either of you download it? As for the 'fancy colors', I'm a graphic designer, so the four years I spent in college mean nothing, right? As for the descriptions, for the most part, I stayed away from using specific countries or realms, unless it's part of *MY* game.
This version was only to compliment the current NWN items, which are drab and plain. Gee, I wonder if that's why the version is .5??
Neither of you downloaded it, but you flame and troll. If you have nothing constructive to say, then by all means contribute something of your own and don't waste my time.
Some people's trash is another's treasure...

Perhaps make two sets. For those with developed worlds there is no interest at all in any history you might create for the items.
I WOULD have interest in scripted items (unique properties) especially if they had nothing to do with combat but added to role playing situations. Those would be very popular!

These are no better then what builders make in their boring modules and worlds unless they have a good lore/history or at least description. It takes about .01% brain power to throw a bunch of properties on an item, mess with some silly colors and give it a name. It takes far more originality and detail to give such items a life and history of their own. Please don't disgrace the IWD or BG series unless you also take the lore and descriptions on those items as well. Thanks!
