I thought that most of the inns I have seen were just too big for a small village or town. This one is small, only 3 rooms. It consists of the following: 1. A main room with bar, tables and benches, 3 patrons and a innkeep. 2. A kitchen with fireplace, table, various kitchen effects and the innkeepers wife who goes busily along between the flour sacks and making bread on the table. 3. A room with 4 beds. In a small village, with few travelers, I imagine that an inn would not need too many rooms. It would make more sense to bunk people together on the off chance that more than one was in town at one time. Area Properties. This was made with SOU/HOtU. It also requires the CEP. Just import into your mod and it shoud run fine. I have included a few npcs and their scripts. Of course you could add, delete or change anything you needed too. One of them will have an interesting conversation if you are a female. Anyway, hope this works out for you.

Good, I like small areas too. Allways hated those big interiors.

Great addition. Easy to drop in somewhere.

Good job!!
Id love to see a whole village made like this,
with shops and so on...
It was always my opinion that the interiors of NWN
are way too big (and the exteriors too little...)

Most small Inns around the time period used in most fantasy settings would only have a communal Tavern Floor, come sleeping room.
So if you'd really like to recreate an authentic "small inn" then simply have an Area change at night to an Area with sleeping mats on the floor.
Good to see someone is thinking outside the norm and helping liven our worlds up, cudo's Integra

That is a good point Tim. Of course, the mod I designed it for had visitors in this village only once a year, so it made sense in that world that they might sleep in the inn beds. It could easily be modifed to add another room on for their private nest. :)
I also agree that most Inns are too big. One small point, where do the Innkeeper & his wife sleep/live? The kitchen? Most small inns would not have seperate living quarters for the Innkeepers."In a hole in the ground, there lived a Hobbit."

Thanks! I am trying to stay a bit realistic on my small villages and hamlets.

I always thought they're too big too. Good inn!
