Just a quite little village in the country side. Nothing special. Maybe even for just passing through. How ever you waqnt to use it. I zip everything up with WinRar. Hopew you have it. If not get it. Its worth its weight in gold for bigger downloads.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 5 that made this score of 8.40 then rounded to 8.

I use WinZip and WinRAR.. as far as whats used more.. its winzip. Its everywhere and it wont be going away anytime soon. Yes rar files are smaller, but most places dont use rar... the funny thing is.. rar and zip formats have been out longer than some of you have. I know zip compression has been around since some time in the 80's
Anyone remember the good old days of BBS RPGs?? LORD perhaps??
A few DEAD compressions.. arj, lzh, and several others that couldnt compete with rar and zip. Oh well, best thing to do is get a proggie that will open both.
BTW like the prefabs, might try a few out.

Personally, I use Ultimate Zip. I have version 2.7 I
beleive. I handles all compression formats,
including .zip and .rar. During the instillation, it even
asks you if you would like options added to your context
menus (right-click on a file menus).

Decent village here.
Why are you whiny little girls crying about the file
format? Why should the designer cater to you because you
can't be bothered to download a free utility? Is he your
personal slave who exists just to make your life easier?
I think not.
Quit whining and go download WinAce or move along. The
designer provides the material for free - it's not up to
him to personally deliver it and install it for you,
losers.

If you don't want WinRAR you could just get WinACE as that
decompress' .rar files. If your not going to take a few
seconds to download either one then thats your choice, and
poor one it will be indeed.
I have WinZIP, WinACE and WinRAR.

Could you make this and The Fort zips please?

The village is nice and appreciated. I could care less
what archive format is used. I have and use them all.
Least I can do if someone spends time making a mod is take
the time to get the same archiver they use.

Well, if you want it zipped. E-Mail me and I will zip it
for you. Its just that with the compression of WinRAR, it
is what the next step is. So sooner or later everyone will
have it. WinZip is nice. But it is getting outdated. So
WinRAR is the next step in the right direction.

I am almost certain that the majority are probably using
WinRar.

This pre fabricated village is worth about 10 copper
pieces since I am not going to download something called
WinRar. Sure other programs are faster and more efficient
than zip, but so is the Apple vs. the IBM PC. The question
is, what is the majority using?
