Description
This is a combination of what I felt were the best item template appearances in prefabs by: Berynius, Arikel Tolifen, MaD, Lhiannan Sidhe, Elynor, Greg Christopher, ffbj, Lupin III, The Sage and RGE. Items were normalized so that they have a consistent naming/Tag/ResRef scheme. Magic properties, descriptions, comments, additional cost, plot flag, stolen flag, and identified flag were all removed. Items are in their proper palettes.
Includes ERF with 237 armors, 50 helmets, and 101 weapons.
Have you seen how many cloak hak paks there are? It is trivial to modify the armors and change the neck node so that they use your cloak hak.
WHY NO DESCRIPTION/MAGIC PROPERTIES?
Every builder has their own game world with its own level of magic balance and history. By not having any description/magic properties these items can be used in any game world without the builder having to go through every item and remove things that are inappropriate for their game world.
I find it takes more time to make the item look good than it does to build the properties/description. With this prefab you can quickly grab an item with an appearance similar to what you are imagining. Then it is fairly simple to change the properties/descriptions to something appropriate for your world.
I also plan to use these items in at least two other projects where it is more useful to me if the items are non-magical.

Thanks, saved me the time and effort of building this all by myself!! There is so much good work on the vault that one should use it and not think that "I " can do it better!!
Appreciate the collation of this material.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 2 that made this score of 8.50 then rounded to 9.

Haven't actually downloaded *this* ERF, but I found that bit of research you did (testing 25 prefabs) to be insanely useful - great job!

thanks much for this OMW, i'm working on putting up a 500+ area server and these types of prefabs are extremely vaulable when you're doing everything yourself. also using your loot notification routine and the blank books pack you put out, and you've helped me out a few times on the forums with some scripts. i'll trust anything you put up on the vault, many thanks again man.

Yeah, I always tweak them as well. :)
But I know what you mean about saving time.. I was building a druid encampment the other night and all I had to do was put down a whole bunch of olive/tan/brown armor for the NPCs.. had 6-7 custom looking NPCs in around 3 minutes.

Not bad. I slightly tweaked a lot of them (others I just outright deleted) to fit some of my NPC's Stories, ect. Saved me a lot of time though - great work all involved!

whistler;
Nice job. I played around with this last night, and must say you made a VERY big project nice and organized. I'm sure I'll never use all of these, but I've already persued the stuff and extracted some of my favorites for use in my mods. Great work!
