This is a DM wand that allows the addition or removal of most item properties in the game available as of v1.66. To install, simply extract from the .rar into your erf folder, then import it into your module and it's ready to go.
Update: Added ability to add Epic spells as castable by an item. Fixed a few typos and minor bugs.
Update Feb 7/06: Fixed issue with indexing in the conversation. This fixes the bug which appears as the only property able to be added is an Ability Bonus, and it doesn't allow removal of properties.
Update Feb 8/06: Adjusted conversation setup, scripts adjusted as well to compensate.
The same as the earlier comment. The conversation appears alright. Choosing remove, removes ALL properties. Choosing Add does not and leaves the conversation.
The conversation seems empty only allowing me to add property or remove property, both cases dump me from the conversation without ever getting to alter a item

Absolutely a must have, this is so sweet! Adds alot of possibilities for DM's. This should be included in the Hall of Fame and also in the DMFI wand package.

Great wand and set of scripts. The only problem I see is I was unable to add an onhit property to either armor or weapon.
It said successful but property didnt appear in the description nor work testing the item.

I overwrote the older version of the Item property Wand over the newer version and now it works fine.
Im guessing the bug fixes and newer features are missing now though.

Hey RDJ iv'e tried to get this Item property wand going on several mods to no avail. The DM avatar makes the use animation but no conversation ever pops up.
Seems it must need something on the mods onactivate....or something.
It uses the default OnActivate script supplied with HotU, it should have be mentioned with the package description. Sorry for leaving that out. Other than that, you only have to import, then use the wand while in game and it will start the conversation for you.
Sorry for the slow reply as well, I don't check this page much due to it having been that long ago without any comments.
There are hundreds of scripts with this, and a little instruction would be nice. I take it that something is to be added to the mod's on activate item script?
It would also be nice it you just made it use a script that has the same name as the item tag so that nothing has to go in the on activate item script.
It's been so long, you probably don't even keep this updated. Oh well, I wanted to try it, but just importing the erf won't make it work.
