The HaRS was developed in response to my modules' need for more "depth" and a little bit of "realism". While working on my first [and as of yet, unreleased] module, I couldn't find any discussion-board information concerning a hole-and-rope movement mechanism. As a result, I developed the HaRS package, which I am now submitting to the NwN community. The Hole and Rope Set adds a functional and flashy element to a module. It utilizes conversation-based scripts to create the illusion that the PC is using a rope for movement; the actual movement mechanism is guided by waypoints. The package is relatively simple to install, and provides the PC with another level of gameplay immersion.

[Note: The Hole and Rope Set is a basic project and probably will not appeal to the grizzled script-veterans. My purpose in releasing the HaRS package is to provide new builders with a resource that I myself was unable to find when I was a beginner.]

Just wanted everyone to know that I'm still here, still checking on all my uploads. I'm also working on a few projects which are nearing fruition, so that's exciting!
Still only three votes and four comments - have any of you who've downloaded the HaRS actually used it? If not, I understand, because I'm the same way, sometimes not using an item until months after I've downloaded it. Recently, however, I've tried to get in the habit of leaving a comment whenever I download - it may not be a vote, but at least the package's creator knows that "I" was there, and not some nameless downloader.
If you have used the HaRS, and have a coherent opinion of it, why not leave a vote, or even a comment? I don't want to sound like I'm begging for votes, but without that crucial community/user feedback, I'll never know what's wrong with my work, and how to improve it. And believe me, I plan to be around for awhile (and looking quite forward to the NwN Renaissance, too), so please help me make the best stuff that I can!

Yes we have all made mistakes. I have opened mouth and inserted a foot or two myself. So thank you for removing the need for all haks.
A very good first effort I will keep track and see what else new eyes see, and new hands do. Keep it up.

Glad you liked the package - yeah, you're right about the hakpaks. I guess (hope is more like it) that everyone is entitled to one stupid noob mistake.

Why in the world would you need: femelf heads; numjnude; knude1.0; fjiggletopelss to be able to check this out. What the heck are you doing with these ropes anyway.
You should have created a separate module for inclusion in this example without useing the haks that are obviously going to be included in a mature rated mod. If you feel that certain things are needed for this to work properly this should be stated up front, as in needs CEP or PRC or HoTU.
Now you realy should upload an updated version that does not require these specific hak files to look at your example mod. Otherwise you will have a very limited audience of builders.
