This system was made to fill an idea/request posted. It has now been updated to meet the full requirements of that post/request but still has room for improvement. As I have time to do so, I will update it until it is a more than viable way of handling RP disguises for PCs. If you use it, I welcome any comments you have on it. That being said, please be nice.
UPDATED: Feb 26, 2006
I have now changed the system so that only disguised PCs have the effect placed on them. Any other PCs encountered will automatically have a spot check made for them and the results told to them as well. A running list of all encountered PCs is kept so that any future meetings with the disguised PC will be treated as the original results and no further spot checks made until the disguised PC removes and re-applies another disguise.
PC Role-Play Disguise Kit: This set of scripts and items allow for RP enforced PC disguises, as per NWVault posted idea/request. I have updated this system to meet all the requirements of the idea poster and will make some further enhancements as to how I feel it could be improved (eg: spot check is made against target every time and should only be made once until several factors change).
We will be testing this out in our gameworld, Greycliff. I'll vote and give feedback once we have some ourselves. _________________________ Obsidian Shore, a HoF 9.8 heavy roleplaying PW. Dark and gritty fairytale world with the opportunity to do and change the world as you wish. Link

I was wondering if this actually chnages the in game appearance of the PC/NPC or if it is a strictly RP thing where the player is expected to act as if they see something else? Do NPCs react differently to a disguised PC?
Alrighty, I checked, re-checked and then triple checked to make sure the updates were made. This system is now complete as per the requested parameters. There is still room for improvements, which I will attempt to make as time permits and perhaps as suggestions/comments are made. If you use it, I hope you enjoy it.
Well, this started out as a posted request by another on these boards, and after I stumbled across it by accident I found it intersting and decided to try and do it up. It isn't 100% as per their requeswt, but if I can get one (or more) aspects working, it will be a *useable* disguise system when handled under a strict in-game RP system. But, we'll see how it goes.
Sincerely,
-Velkyn (Island of Korax, Realms of Jova)
