Posted by Keres at 2007-08-02 20:23:17    Voted 10.00 on 08/02/07 This is a great idea Posted by Sharona Curves at 2006-08-07 11:00:57    Voted 10.00 on 08/07/06 Very cool! a couple builders and myself have been having periodic chat meetings where we discuss details about our project. someone in the group suggested a few weeks ago that instead of using a chat client that someone hosts a server where we can "see" each other and possibly host pieces of the project for display. it has worked out great but was missing something. after using this twice now i found what was missing. i really like that this is setup like a government forum. a congress if you will. too many times in our chat sessions one person begins speaking when someone else cuts them off and than the thought gets lost. this forum module prevents this with the speaker having their say until the time limit is reached. perfect for those long winded people like me. i get to say my piece but am not allowed to ramble on forever. i can see this as saving alot of time. the logging of our discussions is really a bonus too. i do not know if the voting will become useful to us but it is certainly a good option. thanks for sharing this. a perfect 10.
