** Requires Nwn 1.68, and these expansions: SoU, HoTU, and CEPv2.0 **
This is an expanded version of Hobbiton from The Lord of the Rings, based upon maps from various sources. Depicts the home of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins with a great attention to detail. Come and see the various famous sites, such as the Old Grange and the Mill... perhaps take a hike up the Hill and see Bagshot Row as well as the field where Bilbo threw his farewell party! Or stop by Bag End to see that humble dwelling where the events of the Hobbit, and LOTR, first began. Good for a bit of Nostalgia for all LOTR fans, and most ideal for use in any module where the Shire plays a
major role. You've seen various prefab interpretations of Hobbiton before, but
this is probably the most accurate one. Contains two 16x16 areas consisting of Hobbiton and the Hill. An .erf file is included, for easy importing. Special thanks goes to Remir Arnom, whose own vision of Hobbiton became the base and foundation from which I've built mine.
As with my Minas Tirith prefab, this is a strict, by-the-book representation of
one section of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic fantasy world of Middle Earth. Enjoy!

Fantastic job! Great attention to details (not that I'd know Hobbiton blueprints but it looks right, somehow!). I know you're confined to the limitations of NWN but the wooden wall with the spikes coming off it in "The Hill" doesn't look fitting. Great job anyway.

Very nice and accurate depiction of Hobbiton and the Hill! Yet another great prefab from Chaos! (btw, love the water wheel, I might have to swipe that idea)! _________________________ "Inconceivable!"

I'm a big fan, I'm also using your Minas Tirith prefab in my own (personal) MERP module, and I love it.
Thanks for the vote, FrikaC! Actually I myself also have been looking at an atlas of Middle Earth and wondering if it would even be possible to do it right in Nwn... then, I figured the only way to find out would be to try, and so The Complete Hobbiton came to be, with a little help from Remir's original (although much smaller, only 8x8) prefab and some constant looking at various maps from several books as I worked. I approached from the angle of not duplicating the images from the movie, necessarily, but rather putting down what was mentioned in the books to the smallest detail. So, to make a long story short I kept all the things Remir put down, but added to them to give more realism (such as how I've put an actual working water wheel on the Mill), and the rest of the project (such as the Hill) I did from scatch. So, I am pleased that you appreciated all the work I put into making this the definitive Nwn view of Hobbiton. Thank you again!

I like what you've done with this. Good attention to detail, excellent use of the CEP placables - I have been looking at the maps in the MERP Atlas and debating on how to handle Hobbiton, you completely beat me to the punch, good job.
