This is an example of how to use the NWN Campaign data base to save locations without the use of bind stones... i have it running on heart beat in the mod . but you can put it anywhere such as on rest, where ever you perfer.

Fantastic. Works and was SOOOOO EASY to get running.
The pack file being ACE was a pain. Had to download software just to get it working.
But that has nothing to do with the awesomeness that is packed inside this little file.
Thanks... More then you can know. THANKS

I love this...very simple to use. I think if you are going to have a large mod (and/or a timed reseting PW) This is a must.

I think a on rest save would be alot less lag for anyone running a mod with more than 10 areas and 10 people. Heart beats are the enemy if you ask me in the war on lag. If someone could please put up a post of on rest script. I would be very happy.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 4 that made this score of 8.75 then rounded to 9.

Can you put all the scripts we need into an ERF file, and then put a readme to tell us where the files go? Thanks!

Cyber do you have any more scripts that use the Bioware DB handy? I love your work! I'd really be interested in a few scripts that would save journals, quests and possibly containers using this system.
If anyone has a link I'd sure appreciate that too.

Doh! Got it, and it works like a charm thanks CyberGhost. I now have the basics of my persistent world working. Journal,Save locations, and database.

Ace is just another form of compression. You can find/download WinAce or something like that to unpack it OR use winrar. Winrar unpacks any and all compressed archives. Woot. D

This is an ACE file, where does it go, and how do I import it into my mod.

This may be what Im looking for, but is it compatible with the classic toolset yet?

Be interested in seeing your code... any chance you can save the mod as non-SOU? I think there's a bat file you need to run on your end to make it backwards compatible.
