Basically if you can Cut, Paste, and copy you can now build a great quest. A word document explains more. But basically I have done all of the scripting you will ever need and all you have to do is plug in the items and run with it. Very simple design Questions ask. This does use Knats PQJ system (Bioware) and Splief modifed the scripts for use with NWXS. BTW: Don't forget to try the Low Intelligence (Under 9) conversation chains. Added Restrict by class and level. Updated the Documentation.
I have gotten the quests to store, but when a character logs off of our server then logs back in, their journal entries disapear. The quest giver still knows where they are in their quest but it is not in the PC's journal. I have the RebuildJournalQuestEntries(GetEnteringObject()); and the #include, but the quests do not seem to be getting restored on entry.

Is it possible to set up a npc to give a mail quest that will go to another npc then the other npc will give another piece of mail to pc to return to the original npc then the pc will recieve payment and quest will be completed.
Is it possible to make it so that players that have not done the quest already will be able to acquire the quest? Currently, if another person has taken on the quest (completed it, whatnot) no one else may do it.
Is it possible to make it so EVERYONE has a chance to do it?

The reason there is no erf is because of the way this system works.
You modify one of the stock NPC in this module with your own variables and quest items.. THEN you export it as an erf yourself.
I have beed using forsetii systems for a couple of years now and it is the easiest quest set I ever found available on nwvault.
Howabout an erf for easy import? _________________________ It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, it is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning, it is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion.

Thanks, I am going to finally try to plug this in, today.
I'd like to use this for the Etarnon HCR-CEP server. does it use bioware, or NWNX DB calls? My server runs on a remote Linux pay server, and does not have access to mySQL, so I can only use bioware db calls. Thanks for taking the time to write this code. Good scripts and tools are difficult to find.
I am not sure to be honest. I think there is a few function I use that had a 1.59 version. You might want to think about upgrading. Using the Bioware Patch.
Hey guys I fixed a couple of scripts that were acting funny.
Updated the Documentation for all quests and flushed it out a bit more. Need anything just ask.
Thanks.
BTW: If you are using this let me know. I just wanted to make sure that it meets your needs.

You can export scripts, items, areas, pretty much anything from a module.
Just open it in the toolset and go to the File menu, and choose 'Export'
Then select the resoures you want to export.
It creates an .ERF file, which you can then Import into your own mod. This is the basis of 99% of the items & scripts on this site, so it pays to learn quickly.

This is so embarrasing, but i already realized it was a module, and it works great, really a nice help, however i still cant find how to save those scripts and such to use in my own mod, or was the intention to simply modify your mod?

Hi, im sorry, this may be a stupid question, but once i heard the only stupid question is the one left unsaid, so here it goes:
Where am i supossed to paste the file _Forsettii_QB_RC_102 or what am i supossed to do with it? is it a compressed file or what? my windows doesnt shows anything else but _Forsettii_QB_RC_102 so i dont know what type of file it is, therefore dont know what to do with it. Maybe ther problem is that english is not my 1st language, and i just didint knew how to translate your instructions, sorry about it, and thanks for any help possible.

Basically in the Jouranl. Click on Root and then Paste it will just add another version of Quest Style 1.
Or you can just add another Journal Entry following the Guildlines.

in the description it says:
"Open the Journal Editor. (Tools -> Journal Editor) or (Ctrl + Alt + J)
Select the _ style_1 Quest and then copy and paste.
"
Copy what and paste where? Help me please.

This system is very easy to use, and very flexible as far as making different kinds of quests. Wishlist-
Ability for 1 NPC to give more than one quest
ability for randomization of quests given

Incredibly useful system. Why didn't Bioware do it that way before instead of their conmfusing plot wizard?

I was looking at this, thinking how nice it would be if only it worked with PQJ (Persistent Quests & Journals). Then I decided to download it anyway, and read whatever docs you included.
Imagine my suprise when I saw that you are also using PQJ!
So... i'm quite eager now to use this, as it will save me a LOT of messing around.
But I have some questions...
1) Can you PLEASE update your help document to be a bit clearer and to include examples of ALL the available quest types.
2) Is it possible to work with PQJ already installed? Or will I have to redo all my current quests?
3) Normally my NPCs have other conversation branches, either with background info, stores to open or plot to tell. Can I use your system and still have this, or are my quest givers going to be limited to very simple conversations?
I look forward to seeing this develop!
