This Ghost will use Malevolence (Possession) and also Frightening Moan (Fear Scream) -- very similar to what Ghosts do in 3rd Edition.
Complete with excellent visual effects.

Updated version adds moan visual effect, fixes it so multiple instances of moan and malevolence won't happen, added optional
damage when possessed (Default does Damage, see script to configure how much damage, what type, etc.).
This version the ghosts can pass through creatures's bodies (like a real ghost can ??)
2nd Update: Fixed the death and damage bug, added invisibility visuals, made changes to how the ghost jumps and some safety fixes
            to help prevent the ghost from bugging out when a PC dies or when a PC leaves the server (In theory this should fix
            the 'disappearing into a wall permanently' bug.)  The ghost will do damage now and if it kills the PC it will jump out
            of their body and only at the location where the PC died.  This fixes any respawning issues, so the ghost won't stay inside
            the PC's body when they have respawned.


Installation:
1.  Place the GHOST_LIMBO waypoint somewhere in your mod (preferably where PCs can not see or get to). [Custom>Waypoint]
2.  Place the COLOR_OBJ placeable also in a place where PCs can not get to. [Custom>Miscellaneous]
3.  Edit the stats for the Ghost to your liking - I did nothing to the stats, and place it somewhere in your mod.  [Custom>Undead>Other]

See the i420_ghost_fx script for further customization.

The COLOR_OBJ makes the text appear just like Bioware's colored Saving Throws.
The waypoint is used to jump the Ghost to when it possesses the PC.

Description

My ghost will attempt to possess (Malevolence in 3rd Ed) the PC (will save negates), if possessed the PC will take (optional) damage. The ghost will also attempt to use Frightful Moan and make the PC feared. It really looks like the ghost jumps inside the PC with the effects I used. Included in the zip is in importable erf and a test module so you can see how it works. This is an update to my old script, I fixed several bugs and added a few enhancements. Ghosts can now pass through solid creature's bodies and PC's!! Update: Fixed damage and death bug.

Nicely done it does look good but what i'd like to see is the ghosts make use of the PC and attack other players.

This is brilliant.
Its just what I needed to put panic back in to some encounters.

Its really cruel to watch your PC get posessed, and have other ghosts kick the heck out of him. :-)

Yes, it fixes the multiple ghost. As for the disappear into a wall. I am unsure about this, so I went and uploaded a new version. I found a bug in the old one, and I changed the way the ghost jumps to the PC. Hopefully this will clear up the bug.

The new version should be available here in a few days.
