A ring with charges that recharge over time, and slots for binding teleport places. Also got a teleport to leader function and mass teleport. Number of charges, recharge time, number of slots, location to teleport to are set as variables on the ring. So the ring will be persistant in a servervault character. Also in the archive is a teleport stone blueprint to function as a teleport place and a conversation for a ring seller.

I'm using this on my server as my "Bind Stone" alternative. The players get a ring when they first log in and can decide which locations to save as they come across them and which to get rid of. Its exactly what I wanted for my world and is working great. _________________________ Dolentoll - The Hidden Islands Link

If you mean the name on the ring itself, then you put that on the ring when you create it.
The tr_CreateRing(...) function use the tr_tele_ring blueprint to make a ring, so it will use the name that is given in that blueprint. If you want to change the name with a script, just use the SetName() (I think it is) on the object that the function returns.
Including the ring in a module should not be to difficult, but there are allways things that can go wrong.
1) Import the scripts
2) Use the Teleportation Stone blueprint, or make your own teleportation place with haveing the tr_place_conv and
the variable needed for the name of the place.
3) Use one of the three methods described in the readme to create a ring.
4) Bind the ring to a place
5) Use the ring
I know this is a bit general, so if you need more details to make it work, send me an e-mail.
hello, forgive me but I just cannot find the line to put the names i want on the ring, ive looked everywhere. obviously i'm missing it but becouse I know practicly nothing about scripting but, please help.
I love the script it is perfict for my world. is it possible to give me a step-by-step tutorial on how to put this in correctly.

Okay, should have answered here long ago....
1) No need of any OnActivate. It uses the "new" system where you have a script file with the same name as the tag of the item who takes care of activation. (hmm, may have forgott to mention that in the readme.txt file... added it for v1.4)
2) The place name on the ring comes from the slot_x variable on the ring (where x is a number between 0 and 9). These strings should be set by the place conversation. But you can also set them in your own scripts.
3) Have added the readme.txt file for viewing here, so that the changes/updates are possible to read without downloading the file first.
4) I've done a small update on the ring after v1.3 where you have a variable to deside if the Ring can do Mass Teleportation. Any other suggestions for improvement ?

Has anybody figured out how to make actual place names appear in the ring slots?
Mine say "Unused Slot" even when they are used. (The ring still works.. just not giving a location name in the convo)
