This system allows PCs to be subdued in PvP battles. (Based on Rocc's script)

Removed conversation. Subdual mode is a two way toggle. Either it is on or off.
Removed Sparring mode. To Spar, just use Subdual mode.
Subdual mode can lead to player death. The process is just slower. At the concussion level, a fortitude save is made each round to see if the player dies of their wounds. The DC for the save will increase each round of beating.
Since Subdual mode has little to do with looting, full looting is left to each server's death system.

Fixed gold dropping on Blackout. It now accounts for stacks larger than 50,000gp.
Optimized the transfer of inventory items.
Fixed bug where a new inventory bag was created with every punch. Now, only one bag is created. If the player is subdued again, and is more than 10 meters away from their original bag, a new one will be created for them.
Added Subdual tool to default package. It uses Bioware's Tag Based item activation, which means the tool can be used as soon as it is imported.

Tested it, and incorporated it into my system. Works flawlessly and was, by far, the easiest script to integrate! Customizing the script was also a breeze, the script was very well written. Great work, much appreciated.
Anyone using HCR and looking for a subdual system should definitely check this system out.

Very nice set of scripts for subdual damage. Actually I altered it somewhat to make it work for npc's. Dynamite work.
What are you trying to do? The system is pretty modular in that its broken down into documented functions. I'd be happy to help explain anything.
As an update, I'm going to modify this script again to fix some bugs and inconsistencies. Here is a summary of the changes I plan on making:
1. Subdual will be a toggle on/off subdual/lethal. Those who wish to Spar should use subdual.
2. I'm going to change the levels of damage to better reflect what is happening. IE, a knock-out will last longer. Possible confusion effects..etc.
3. Subdual damage CAN LEAD to player death, it just slows the process down. If a person is beat into a concussion, there will be a fortitude save with each additional round of damage (with a DC that increases). If the player fails the save, they will die of their wounds.
4. Looting sub-system:
-- Players will still lose their gold. This allows mugging.
-- Players will still lose their equipped items. To allow more serious mugging
-- Players will not lose all gear UNLESS they are beaten to death. At that point, whatever death system you have in effect will take over. This script solves the problem of folks sparing in town, or wherever they may be, and the victor accidentally gives one more blow --accidentally killing his opponent. With this you don't lose your exp because someone had more str. or dex. than they thought.
I like how it has added to the RP. Now the higher levels don't have to take a sassy mouth from a lower level pip-squeek. If they mouth off, then they can get knocked unconsious long enough for the higher level to walk off, unfollowed and unhindered.
I have not had any experiences with familiars or summoned critters as Marleyh has, but that may be an angle that you may wish to think about for any script updates. :)

not found any problems except for if you have the other pc as hostile and are using subdual while you have a summoned critter out, the critter can deliver a killing blow since it isn't restrained by the subdual mode
I just updated the file to be compatible with HCR Base v34. I was suprised to see that HCR doesn't use Tag Based Scripting. Anyhow, just follow the instructions in the Readme file. If you have any problems, just ask and I'd be glad to help! _________________________ Borgo Pass PW Link
