This is NOT a heartbeat based script! The original was done by Scott Thorne. Super job, Scott!! (find it here: http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/scripts/data/1027539693540.shtml) I made a few simple changes to it. 1. hostle creatures will now ignore you while you are lying unconcious. 2. if your killer is injured, they will rest while you are dying. (this part is easily disabled.) 3. if your killer is uninjured and a human, goblin, orc, or half-orc, they will steal some of your gold. (of course, you can kill them to take it back. this part is easily disabled.) 4. now you can see the blood while your pc is bleeding to death. 5. if there are hostle creatures around when you become concious (if you do), they may notice you moving and attack. 6. this script has been PW tested and works fine. simply import the tb_mod_dying.erf and install the tb_mod_dying script in your OnPlayerDying module event. enjoy! (sample module included)

Having tried several bleeding scripts, I liked this one the most. Visual effects added, creatures looting the unconcious pc.
I'm tampering with it to automatically increase/decrease the iDCBase depending in what area the pc currently is.
For Jechal: About the creatures that keep attacking, that's only in the first round (but might be enough to do a coupe de grace on your character. _________________________ Dark Lord Azagthoth

I like this script. I am planning to incorporate it into my single-player module. _________________________ "A dagger in the night is worth a thousand swords at dawn..."

I was looking around for a particular bleeding system for my modules in Neverwinter Nights 2, and I've come across this one. I've tested it in a Single Player mod, and it worked without a hitch. Does it work in NWN2 PWs? I don't know for sure,.. I don't see why not...
I only had to tweak a few thinks, I'm a newb at scripting in NWN, but I was able to get this working. Just had to rename the script "gui_tb_mod_dying", adjust some of the text being displayed. And it worked like a charm. _________________________ AKA: GuardianofLore.
I added this to my PW and it doesn't seem to be working... the player just dies as it has always done. I don't know if I'm missing something.
I did replace the default OnPlayerDying script with your, I'm wondering if I should just have added an ExecuteScript() to the original.
Any help would be great.

Love the script, but I tried it while fighting a badger (animal) and it still stole some gold.

Having the enemy loot the dying pc is a novel idea.
Delayed recursion is generally referred to as a pseudo heartbeat.
