This is the first version of the GS Sailing System which allows the PC to pay for and board a ship that they can actually sail around on the water with. As of now ship combat is NOT supported, it may not even be feasible or possible with the NWN engine.

Ghettosmurf? You ARE a good scripter. Would you be able to make a script for me? It involves good use of variables. I need you to make a script for commmoners (and the like) to do certain things like stopping and playing an animation, or going home at night-time (This one is a must) or lighting street lamps and such and such. You will get full credit in my mod, and will be a definite swell guy :) If you can help me, answer ASAP

Oh just to clear up - a PC on a water walkmesh has about 30 secs to get out before they die if they're not a ship. Pretty frickin' awesome if you ask me. _________________________ Until Dragon Age Comes, maybe

Hey Ghetto - We remedied the situation with sailing... AND we made some improvements that I think you'd find pretty cool.
- with the help of a graphical guru we added walk meshes to all of the water in all the tilesets we use.
- we took the boats from the old arcane space hak, so you can chose what type of boat you wish to sail.
- AND we add the siege weaponry to the boats!! LOL nothing like sailing into a harbour and blowing the heck outta the city!!

1.The first is the module and the second is the erf.
2. As far as I know two people on a bost is impossible with the NWN engine. Combat is pretty difficult and I sorta gave up a while ago. Like I got system working, but it was really sketchy and there were too many ways to cheat.
I just updated the Zip file and I messed up and accidently deleted the original, which reseted the download count. Not that it really matters, but people usually want to download what seems to be a popular file. So just to let new users know, the count was at around 270
You can't. I did not design NWN, and the designers chose to make the arrow keys control the camera, which is fine by me. Use the WASD keys to steer your ship.

no i have not....but how can you make it move with the up down left right keys?
have you tried using the W,A,S, and D keys to move around?

This is great!!! Only one problem tho...my boats stuck and I cant sail on the water...help? Anyway I'm pretty sure I know how you can make a fighting system....simply modify the faction of your boat to hostile, make a few boats, and attack (Im a newb at this crap so plz prove me wrong if you can)

I am actually planning my own series of modules for NWN2 as of now, so I will not be able to script your module for you. You can however, ask me for help on things that trouble you.
BTW, if you feel that this sailing system is good, I encourage you to vote for it.
