Speak the name of the mob you want to spawn and the amount and they will spawn in to your location.
Current voice commands in v1.1:
- ON/on - Turns on voice activation
- OFF/off - Turns off voice activation
- STOP/stop - Stops the listener from following
- BOOKS/books - Gives the ResRef books to the speaker
- Login the example module.
- Say "books". This will give your character books with resrefs of all the mobs in the standard toolset
- Now speak the resref of the mob/s you want to spawn
- eg. Saying nw_goblina 07 will spawn (7) Goblins into your characters location.
or
- Import the erf into your module
- The NPC "SE Listener" is found in Custom > Special1
- Place the NPC Listener at the starting location of the module(Note he can't be seen)
- Login and say something, anything! This will get the listener to follow your character where ever he/she goes.
- Now say "books". This will give your character books with resrefs of all the mobs in the standard toolset
- Simply speak any resref and the amount and they will spawn into your location.
eg. Saying nw_goblina 07 will spawn (7) Goblins into your characters location.
- Note the space between the resref and the number ie: nw_goblina"space"07
- Any amount between 01 - 99
- For best results give the listener a custom faction friendly to all other factions
*Note about using an npc listener - The npc listener is what allows voice commands to work without an npc listener within earshot they will not.

Can this be set up in a location other than the start area? I would love to modify this to work, as you mention, DM only, so that DMs can spawn mobs quick as a blink, but I would like to set the NPC in a location that DMs frequent in my mod (we have a DM boardroom sort of area for them)

haryon, you would need to say god 01 for starters ;)
This is not for DM's, though could be used by DM's just add a line so it only responds to DM's, it's for anyone that wants to spawn a mob or mobs in while in any module for testing, playing whatever.
The next version I will most likely add more functionality like an on/off toggle and also make it that the listener follows only the first speaker, as it is now it will respond to anyone in the area and start to follow the last speaker. _________________________ City of Melnibone

Pretty good for DMs. what happen if I speak normally, and start my sentence with a resref (that I didn't know was the resref of that mega uber killer monster ? - imagine a builder called their level 60 mob 'god' and imagine me says "god ! he is so stupid")
I guess the DMs will love to summon their monsters in the DMFI encounter areas just by speaking :) (they will need to know their resrefs of course, but I'm sure they will learn them very fast)
