Well farmboy, heres your chance to impress us all with your animal handling skills. Included in this package is a small demo mod to show you how to Milk a cow in NWN. This is one facet of a dynamic Livestock system and I'm posting it only because I don't think there is a better way to milk a cow anywhere else. This pack will be expanded as time goes along to show you how to have persistant Livestock ownership, the SLAUGHTERHOUSE :) and a plug in for Olander's OPW craft system - Cheese Making!! WOOT!!

Okay- Here is the word... I am still working very hard on this project and an update to this IS coming- I gaurantee it. HOWEVER because I built this system inside of Olander's Anvarath builder mod there is some custom stuff used - SOO I recommend that you all visit the Anvarath site and dl them and then join us every weekend as we beta test this monster. Cheese Making is 100% finished as is the Slaughter House. Ever wanted to make a Druid cry? LMAO... I've expanded this system to reward PCs for carrying out the tasks.. For example if you milk the cow you are awarded 10 xp... if you spend the time it takes to make a block of blue cheese you will be award nearly 200 xp!!
Furniture Building is well underway and will be incorperated into Hunter's Persistant Housing code which is what we're using on Anvarath.

number 5 may lead you to believe that I am making something like the CNR - THAT AIN'T SO. The only thing this has in common with anything else out there is that the PC will need certain ingrediants to complete recipes. Had a minor gliche so the update is delayed and I know the 26 ppl that dl'd this are JUST dying to know more so allow me to give ya something to chew on...
Be aware that the COW used in this demo was the prototype of a prototype of something that I scraped on Friday :)
The real kicker is coming. What can I say? This concept has had me in stitches and I simply had to share my mirth.
Here is what you can expect in the update ....
1st- the farm animals are persistant, once you buy the cow the farm is yours.. . Resummon your herd when you reenter the mod and carry on carrying on! Oh yeah did I mention you can control up to 5 animals at a time??!!
2nd- You will be able to 'harvest' certain materials from your animals - eggs from chickens, milk from cows... manure from boar.. LMAO!!!
3rd- if you grow bored you can take the farm animal over the slaughter house and carve it up for steak!! LOL!!
4th- by making use of some DYNAMIC placeables you, the PC can turn the milk you gathered from your cows and turn it in to cream, cheese or EVEN butter.... and you recieve an xp reward when you have completed a task!! Whats that? A non-combative way to reach 40th level? WHY YESSIREE SHIRLY!!
5th- When completed this system which I have dubbed Trades will be a very comprehensive package. Currently two trades are supported those are the SLAUGHTERHOUSE and THE DAIRY.
CARPENTRY, BLACKSMITHING, LOGGING, ALCHEMY, SIEGE CRAFT and several others are on the drawing board. Basically what I'm doing is a tech tree and if you've ever played civilization you know what i'm talking about.
As I have said previously this system is designed for Olander's OPW and will make FULL use of his HTF. Ever wanted to bake a pie or build a chair? WELL stay tuned folks....
