I rescripted my crafting system to work well with my server which is a low magic server. This version isn't as customizable as others or the older version, but it's a more solid system. It is based on 'Badlands' Style crafting for those who know what that means.
To setup simply import the erf, attatch the two conversation files onto two NPC's conversation nodes, select 'Build Module' and make sure the 'Scripts' box is checked and compile. Then place the two NPCs down in your module and that's it. You can only have once armour crafter and one weapon crafter, i'm sorry but this is the negative aspect of custom tokens being global.
It hasn't been updated since the last patch, and I don't see why there would be any issues, except there is no code for the new 1.69 base items, that's all. _________________________ §çà®Fãçë

Awesomely done. Yet another contribution to the community's designers. I was wondering if the above file is the newest; if it has been updated and if there are any issues with 1.69 mods? _________________________ You will Despair!

Hello Scarface. I am currently playing a module which is using your script ( Alleyslink's "Lands of Intrigue: Castle Spulzeer"). And now I found that in the weapons list, Two-Bladed Sword is lacking. Is it a known issue?
Also, would you please consider adding "mighty" to the list of abilities given to ranged weapons? Without this property, one cannot make a disireble bows.
@ Ninefires @ Katowulf,
Adding required crafting components would not work that well on this kind of crafting system. _________________________ §çà®Fãçë
I do like the idea of all convo based enchanting- snd I like scarface, yer stuff has been top notch. However I do agree with the last poster... making a PC pay with gold is all fine and daddy- but making them go and collect stuff would make this shiney. _________________________ Until Dragon Age Comes, maybe

Any chance that this could be set up with hooks for components?
I want to require special plot components and rare metals to craft various attributes.
Perhaps a table could define these things, so that I can edit it.
Can I help you build these?

DAMN Scarface you've once again saved my hide, this just might be what i need (tho i'll have to get my scripter to take out a few props) but it's the closest i've got!
Cheers! _________________________ If you don't ask, you'll never know the answer to your question.

Ohhh..THE POWER!
Great features included that you dont see much in other crafting systems...especially the ILR notice when upgrading and the fact that the crafter provides the items. Works great with a forge system too.

now im loged : the "cool" guy ehehe is me so i have another ideia that whould be great in your system.... like arrow crafting with the possibility of put on hit abilitis like on hit knock on arrow.. or on hit sleep... and many others with dc increasing by craft skills and materials to get
very ireally put this script im my mod using default materials and jewels to craft using craft skills
now you have my vote
Ok just in case you don' understand how it works, an item property is a bonus on an item, so lets say we have a belt, and it has ac bonus, true seeing and haste, that means it has 3 properties on it, the max property constant is to limit the number of different properties on an item. _________________________ §çà®Fãçë
Good idea, I will see what I can do, this will obviously mean more scripts, the main amount of scripts in this system are small and only there to create the base item you choose, I could probably cut the scripts down by 75% but personally I prefer the idea of crafting items and not upgrading, but as I said i will add that option for the module builders in the next update. _________________________ §çà®Fãçë

i think is a nice ideia using some nwn jewels to upgrade and craft bonus in the itens
other nice thing to is set te maximum cap limit of the player can have by the skill craft armor/ craft weapon will be nice too
:)
Actually that was suggested by one of my DM's.
I will see what I can do, also I will be adding more bonuses and the option for mod builders like yourself to allow players to upgrade already m,ade items they possess. _________________________ §çà®Fãçë
