Description
A simple system for real torches that burn out and lanterns that run on oil. Completely stand alone. Contains 3 scripts and three items, torch, lantern, oil flask. Now updated to include instruction should BW's tag based script system NOT be active on your module. Will not override any BW, CEP, or other system scripts or object I know of. Also now allow the use of itemproperties for removal of the light property from lanterns when out of oil. Refueling with the included oil flask resets the light property on lanterns.

Thank you. It is indeed great to have a system that doesn't require you to load a massive base module and install CEP.

I love it. And that it's completely standalone is a huge plus. All I wanted was a torch system, not a gazillion other scripts and HCR tacked onto it. Thank you, well done!

I noticed a small error in the update and fixed it. While at it, I also added the ability to use itemproperties to "turn off" the torch when empty and turn it back on when refueled with oil. Instructions on enabling the more realistic torched is found in include script.

Included in the erf are three items, a torch, lantern, and oilflask as well as three scripts. One script is the on activate for the oil flask. Second is a heartbeat script executed from your mods heartbeat, or better yet, merge with your modules heartbeat. The last script is an include with all constants and variables.
