Description
This script is a change you can make to the OnDeath script of any creature, but a good one to use on Commoners in your town if you wish to have some action happen if XXX amount of them are killed. It's a good little sting for those evil players that like to slaughter half your town's populace. I have left actions that happen open to you, but if you need help with that e-mail me, or you could use script generator to give you the extra code I'm sure. I have added a module to download, but while the script listed here works on any patch the module will work only on SoU 1.32 (maybe patch NWN 1.32). Module has six commoners, and a sign. Kill 3 and it will update the sign saying you are wanted for questioning. Kill 6 and read it again. THen walk over trigger by dragon skull to get attacked by bounty hunters at random locations.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 1 that made this score of 10 then rounded to 10.

Hi No-name

Sorry your question left me going.. HUH!
Can you please explain what you mean by "How do you get the bounty hunters to pick you up". Not sure what you mean by that. Did you mean how do you get them to arrest you? If so that is not their intention, they are sent to kill the player, though it would be possible with more complex scripting to get them to come arrest you.

Hi Findor

Actually when I wrote the module demo I made that change so it will remember who is killing who in case of a whole party of murderous players. So if you download the module and use the scripts in that it will be set up to keep tabs on the player doing the killing.

Let me know if you're not sure what's what after you look at it. :)

Ok, you mention that you can set the script so that the bounty hunters (and the notice board) only effect players who are killing commoners...

Care to maybe tell us how to do it, here? :)

Share it with all of us?

Hi

Updated this with a example module of what you could do with it. I used this in my Grail War module, and what it does is if you kill two commoners the notice board will update with the fact you are wanted for questioning regarding the deaths of two commoners. If you kill six of them it will update saying you are definately wanted for murder and a bounty is on your head. Then when you walk over a trigger it will spawn bounty hunters at random places in the area.
Trigger will fire twice in this example module, but you can change it to only happen once, or more if you wish.

Let me know if you need some help etc.

Hi

If you are using this in a module where you expect people to be playing in seperate parties online or as a multiplayer game of any kind you would want to change this script so that the variable is set on the person doing the killing. If you need help making a change to the script so that it does that let me know.
