the PC can use the portal system to teleport to any other portal location by entering the
address of the destination portal. Only discovered portals can be
accessed (this is to prevent random dialling).

The portal address book is used to see a list of known portal addresses.
PCs can still use the portal system without the address book bust must rely on
their own memory to remember the destination address.

to discover a portal and add it to the address book a PC must walk over the
portal. Alternatively a PC could be given a portal address in conversation.

The portal address system is persistent accross server restarts (a far as I am aware!)

just realized the problem i mentioned is easily fixed by changing the tag of "key3" to "qtp_portal12343" instead of "qtp_portalx12343".

I absolutely love this system but one bug i have noticed through the demo module is if you use any of the runes that involved "Key 3" that paticular rune does not reset after portal use or after using the reset rune. Thought you might like to have a look at that..:)
