These two scripts add in many Bard Songs from the D&D manuals. I always felt the bard/curse song was kinda "weak" since it only does a few things, so my friend and I went through the manuals and found many interesting and helpful songs.
All songs are added in addition to the bard/curse song if a PC is wearing an item that you dictate. I personally chose Gauntlets, and named every item after the song to make it easy. Most items have two effects, normal(Bard) and refrained(Curse).
Here are the new songs;
- (Bard) Song of Purity
grants all allies your charisma modifier to saves vs Negative Effects (ie: Strength Drain, Level Drain, etc).
- (Curse) Song of Jibe
decreases enemies AC equal to your charisma modifier.
- (Curse) Song of Fascination
dazes enemies for 1d4+1 rounds.
- (Special) Crystal Echoblade
This is an item I happened by while looking through the Magic Item Compendium. Its a +1 Longsword, however if you use Bard Song you gain
your Bard levels divided by 2 in Sonic Damage if your holding the weapon.
Final note: I made all the item TAGS constants at the begining of each script, so if you want to change them it would be easier. I still kept the bracer/gauntlet item slot for all the special songs so if you changed that you will have to go back and do so again (sorry).
Sadly I haven't updated them, instead a friend and I redid the bard entirely to fit 3.5 rules and even added an prestige class called the Seeker of the Song since NWN doesn't have anything to compliment the Bard class. _________________________ Q-Necron

I don't see anything about a Crystal Echoblade in this ERF. _________________________ -=Jaysyn=-

Very nice!
This is something that needs to be in every module. _________________________ The situation doesn't matter... Failure is not an option!!!
