Description:
Updated: This package includes 34 new songs for bards to play around with.
These songs are balanced with the notion that the bard is "a jack of all trades, master of none."
Details:
Song durations are affected by Lingering Song and Lasting Inspiration feats. Most songs scale by level.
Bards must find appropriate Song Scrolls (Custom->Misc->Scrolls). Just using the scroll puts the song into their memory. A player can only have 1 bard song and 1 curse song in their memory at one time.
Some Sample Songs (See text file for full list):
Infernal Threnody (Inspire) - Evil aligned allies recieve a large AC boost vs. Good
Carlin's Corrosive Chorus (Inspire) - Allied weapons recieve acid elemental damage
Bruno's Bombastic Brawl (Inspire) - Allied bludgeoning weapons recieve Massive Critical Enhancement, Allied Gauntlets recieve Bludgeoning Damage Bonus
Celestial Concerto (Inspire) - Allies regenerate health
Insidious Rhythm (Curse) - Enemies must make a concentration check (DC Perform) or suffer spell failure
Cantata of Conduction (Curse) - Enemies recieve decreased damage immunity vs. electricity
Argot's Animal Anthem (Curse) - All enemies must make a will save or be transformed into a random animal.
Installation:
1. Import the erf file into your module, overwrite all files.
2. Give your bards access to Song Scrolls (Custom->Misc->Scrolls) OR if you dont want to deal with scrolls, there are 2 books which have all songs (Custom->Tutorial).
3. Done!
This module provides a small test area to play around with the bard songs.
-Dresser placable is a merchant selling all song scrolls, also has books that can cycle through all songs.
-Encounters to spawn creatures
Anyone hearing this note must make a concentration check (DC Perform) or fail all spells in the next round.
Crescendo (Inspire)
The bard must make a perform check to sing this uplifting masterpiece. Allies recieve an attack bonus which steadily increases with each successful rise.
Revealing Melody (Curse)
The air fills with bouncing sound waves causing enemies to suffer hide/move silent penalties. Any invisible creatures are also revealed.
A bard must know her own voice's limit, for the consequences could prove dire if she finds herself in a real pinch.
Unceremonius Rhapsody (Curse)
The bard makes a perform check to inflict 1d6 sonic damage upon all enemies with this unholy song. Each successive verse increases the damage by another 1d6.
Calumny - The singer blackens the name of one hostile creature causing all other hostile creatures in hearing to attack them.

Excellent work. Every time I thought I'd found something that needed tinkering by our scripters, this system had a way of making it not an issue. Just took a bit of messing with to understand the system. Thanks for posting this, our community will love it! _________________________ Link

For people having problems with viewing the BardSongDetails.txt file, turn off Word Wrapping (Under Format in Notepad). The chart with all the specific numbers is very wide. _________________________ "Gentle child, slumber in peace; dragons and centaurs will guard your sleep.

This is purdy clever. Good show. _________________________ I am 9fires.In Hell I burn in flames. So cold inside the fires heals the pain.
To remove the CEP dependancy, simply change all the song scroll inventory icons (misc thin) to something else. _________________________ "Gentle child, slumber in peace; dragons and centaurs will guard your sleep.
