For use on servers not using ELC to help stop player hackers from logging in with epic feats, high skill or ability points and bulk hitpoints.
This is NOT not an exact ELC style check but it will severely limit PC hackers on non ELC servers
Basically a newly created character's ability points, skill points, feats and hitpoints are checked for any abnormalities if any are found the player is booted, their cdkey is recorded to the database and DM's alerted. If the character is found to be legitimate it is saved to the DB(Bioware) and the check will never be made again on that character.
v1.3 Minor adjustment to the constant settings(these can be adjusted by the user if you find a valid char is being wrongly marked as invalid)
v1.4 added a hit point check and small test module

a great contribution to the community i hope you keep it up to date, because the cheating players these scripts are designed for, keep coming up with new ways to cheat.
Thanks for your awesome script

I have never used subraces or HGLL but this PC validity check is designed to check a brand new toon as it first enters the server one time only, if they are found to be legitimate they are set as so and the check is never made again. So depending on how your subrace system works, or HGLL, you then add your player skins, subrace stuff, leto hacks etc. AFTER the toon has been checked and is found to be legitimate.
So I imagine that yes it will work either of those, unless they are modifying brand new toons before they first enter the server which would be unlikely. _________________________ City of Melnibone

So what if you use subrace engines that alter stats via leto or HGLL is in use on the server? will this work with those systems? _________________________ PW Action Server:

@ Vald - Been 6 months since I looked at this but I ran a few quick tests and a Gnome/Rogue was over the allowable skill points maximum which was set to 80, he had 87, so I increase it to 90 and Rangers were showing to have 1 more feat then they were allowed so increased that constant by 1.
All the settings are just my estimates, after running various tests with various character combos, if you find valid chars are being wrongly marked as invalid turn debugging mode on to see where the adjustment is needed and make the adjustment to the constant settings.
Remember to compile the OnClientEnter script if you make any changes to the settings in the include. _________________________ City of Melnibone

Hey Sir :D ive used both this and your other player check in my module, but for some reason i dont know which of the scripts it is but whenever people try to log in with either ranger's or rouges it wont alow them and boots them.
Do you have any idea why?
Sweet scripts btw :D

Rather than a hardcoded feat check replaced it with a class plus race feat check for the amount of feats a new char should have. _________________________ City of Melnibone
