I had need of a "Night of the Living Dead" type routine for my first attempt at modding, so here it is. It's actually quite simple, but it works pretty well. If an NPC is killed by a "Living Dead" they will spawn in one as they fade out. I used the Random People scripts by S. Ouellette to provide the zombie fodder and Markshire's Nomenclature scripts to give them names. The Links to the above scripts are:
Please check out these excellent scripts and vote for the authors.
The default delay for the zombie to spawn in is set to 2 seconds. If you want to change it, go to the script ca_living_dead and change line 15 to what ever you need.
I have included the code and a demo mod in a zip file.
To make it work you place a Random People waypoint in your area and put the rp_onenter and rp_onexit in the appropriate slots in the area's events and away you go!

New to editing scripts (and I've been hammering my head at it for a couple hours now) but is there a way to add more creatures to the script list beyond "livingdead" as a flag to infect other NPC's? No doubt it's something simple I just haven't seen.
