NB: Requires SSE v3.0 or v3.0.1 - 3.0.4 and will turn SSE 3.0 (and 3.0.1 - 3.0.4) into 3.0.4.2, see the patch details for more info on this
NOTE: Due to Shayan not updating the SSE entry on the vault, I will continue adding bugfixes here... Feel free to bug Shayan at his boards to get him to update his entry!
SWand is the replacement for the original Subrace Wand created by Shayan for SSE v2.5 and uses an improved version of the DMFI's dynamic conversation builder (used in DMFI's DM Wand v1.07).
Here you will find the SWand version compatible with the SSE v3.0 "Stable" series. For the latest version of the SWand (which requires the newest version of SSE), please see SSE Starry Night.
Features
o Lists all initialised subraces and view well-sorted information about them. (See below)
o SWand can sort subraces by whether or not your character is able to become them.
o View information about Leto (Is Leto running? is Leto disabled? Are players auto-booted by Leto?) Access to this information can be limited/disabled.
o Give/remove/alter a player's Subrace on the fly. No more character remakes or manual edit in Leto.
o Can save Player Characters. (Players can save their own, DMs can save serverwide)
o Usable as Subrace Chooser with a built-in verificator. SWand is able to detect whether or not a player meets the requirements of a subrace.
o Can be used as a Subrace Chooser
Below is a list of all the information SWand can give you about a given Subrace
Subrace Information:
o Alignment, class and racial requirements (see here for colour codes)
o Favored class(es)
o Senitivity and regeneration / damage per round
o At what level the subrace changes appearence.
o ELC
o Stat-detection/reader for stats generated via the Temp-stat creation function in SSE.
o Stat-detection/reader for stats generated via the Base-stat creation function (for Leto).
o Estimation of your( or your target's) new stats with a subrace (Currently Leto only)
SSE 3.0 Bugfixes: o Fixed issue where wings and tails where not applied properly.
o Fixed issue with the Appearence colour-function occasionally messing up data. (Fixed by Shayan)
o Fixed issue with negative ECLs.
I am not actively developing on this branch of SWand any longer. If you want new features in SWand, ask for them in the SWand bundled side by side with Starry Night. This SWand serie will only be updated to fix serious bugs.
Bugfixes to SSE 3.0 (and my 3 .0.X versions). Until Shayan updates the official SSE 3.0 download page on the vault, this package will remain...
Current version 3 .0.4.2
SWand - both as erf and as testing module (NB: Req. HotU, since I do not have a 2nd expansionless NwN installaion). Includes patch details/fixes. This will also patch your SSE to 3 .0.4.2
SSE will now properly handle negative ECLs... Please note however that SSE v3.0 only reserved 4 bits for ECLs, so the supported ECL range is -8 to +7. Before this patch it was 0 to +15. ECLs greater than 7 will be converted into negative numbers, where:
15 becomes -8
14 becomes -7
...
8 becomes -1
Considering that this bug has been present in the first SSE v3.0 (since 2006), I believe it is safe to conclude that very few actually use (negative) ECL in their XP systems.
I have updated the Leto-checking functions and hopefully managed to make the text a little better in some parts. As written above, feel free to send me re-writes or just Leto related information.
The Item-restriction-reader is also done!
I also bring good news to the non-SWand users, a new bugfix for SSE.

You are more dedicated to this project than I am :) _________________________ Shayan's Subrace Engine (The most simplest way to create your own subraces!): Download it here

Right, so I forgot to update the scripts with Shayan's Quick Fix, which he made after the release of SSE 3.0
I am nearly done with fixing it without purging half of my updates to SWand, so fairly soon (I expect later this weekend) I will upload the latest version of SWand including this fix.
