Sir Elric,
Ok...we started having this issue since we updated to 1.69.
For some reason, the save locator is working backwards. Instead of loading the (base) start area first, and then the last saved location, as it ought to do, so that the player ends up IG where they finished before, we are having the exact opposite happen.
Tested this multiple times since 1.69 and 2.1 were loaded. Every time it has done the exact opposite of what it should. The PC 'always' ends up back in the start now, even though the location was clearly saved, since it does load the proper area and then "pulls" the PC back to the start. We tried reloading the erf, same issue.
The updates are really causing headaches for us right now. *sighs*

So far this has worked wonderfully for us. Thanks, Sir Elric!

Does exactly what it says it does and with no fuss at all. Brilliant. One small comment/suggestion though, I use journal entries a lot on my mod. It already saves any notes a pc has in its journal, but can it be set to save journal entries too? _________________________ ~

Excellent work! I have been using several of your systems with great success.
This package was simple to install and configure. This is just another fine example of packages that reduce the setup of persistent worlds while providing flexibility on the implementation.

Ha, I realized I voted last year already. Oh well, you deserve a 20/ 10 anyway.

I've been using this system and your new player setup system too and I really enjoy them both.
Is there any way I can edit your script to stop the PC relogging to avoid respawn penalties?

Does this also save your character? (not just its location) _________________________ *All right... They're on our left... They're on our right... They're in front of us and behind us. They can't get away this time!*

Works perfectly and very easily configured to my needs. Thanks Sir Elric!
@ bossman. You need Winrar a free file compression utility to uncompress the files, Google it. _________________________ City of Melnibone

Great Work,
The documentation could be a little more fleshed out. A + B = C
Step by step for those of us that are not as conversant in the scripting field.
Otherwise I've replaced one persis system with this one and I'm pleased with the robust scripting and the easy integration.
I do however have 1 problem. OnRest event in module properties is probably set up incorrectly as I get 8 messages in the server field while playing when I rest "Player position saved" 8x.
Might you be willing to help me out here? Otherwise the baby runs great!
Best

Thank You very much for making a simple plug -n- play persistent location script. It worked like a charm first try.
