REQUIREMENTS
--------------
The script suite requires tag-based scripting, and it may or may not work outside of SoU+HotU 1.68. The demo module requires SoU+HotU. Miorg supports CEP weapons, but does not require CEP.
WHAT IS MIORG?
----------------
Miorg is a simple script suite designed to help players make sense of cluttered inventories. Miorg allows the player to automatically sort small, prolific items such as keys, gems, potions, and more into specially-marked bags. Miorg can also reorganize the player's inventory, automatically eliminating gaps and fragmentation and ensuring optimal usage of space.
Miorg is an excellent time-saver for any adventurer. On more than one one occasion, I have spent at least a full minute at a merchant looking for a single gem that I was certain I picked up, but that has slipped between the cracks of my other inventory items. With Miorg, a few simple clicks will filter all of your gemstones into a single bag (or multiple bags, if you need that many).
Miorg is completely non-invasive. It does not modify any standard BioWare scripts, and thus should fit into almost any module with no difficulty. Miorg's sort categories are also easily extendable and modifiable.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
------------------
The download contains the complete .erf package to implement Miorg in your module. Also included is a demonstration module that will show you how Miorg works. You can even import one of your beleaguered characters into the demo module, reorganize your inventory with a few mouse clicks, and export him or her back out again.
AUTHOR'S COMMENTARY
---------------------
Miorg is my first submission to the vault. Since I haven't seen any inventory sorters on the vault, and since I'm already working on a campaign anyway, I decided to give it a shot myself. Miorg is the result. I hope folks find it useful.
Bear in mind that v0.33a is a beta release. I've done a lot of testing and fixed a lot of bugs, but nobody's perfect. If you download Miorg, please vote and tell me what you think!
Andros - you should be able to add Miorg to a module by opening it in the editor, importing the Miorg scripts, and giving the player access to the widget as described in the documentation. Unfortunately, there's no way that I know of to add the scripts to a saved game in progress - editing a module won't change any existing saved games that came out of that module.
If you have a running character that you like to play in multiple modules, you can also import him or her into the Miorg demo module, organize your inventory, and export back out again. This is a one-shot deal, since you won't be able to use the widget in a module that doesn't have the Miorg scripts, but it will clean things up for you, and you can keep all the Miorg bags with no problem. _________________________ NWN1 Scripts: Miorg Inventory Organizer Switch-Based Secret Doors Suite
Hello, I have been looking for an organizer like this for the NWN Inventory. Is there any way to make this work without having it implemented in the Module itself first? I would like to use this with EVERY module I play. _________________________ -------------Role Player since 1997-------------

This is an excellent idea! I believe should be highly recommended for modules that produce vast amounts of treasure or crafting. _________________________ PW Action Server:

v0.33 is out, and now supports CEP weapons. One version works for both CEP and non-CEP modules. The other big update is a much cleaner, more efficient, more stable bagging engine. The full details are in history.txt.
Remember folks, if you download Miorg, please vote and leave a comment, even if you don't like it. Your feedback is valuable to me. Enjoy the scripts! _________________________ NWN1 Scripts: Miorg Inventory Organizer Switch-Based Secret Doors Suite
Thanks for the feedback, Darkvalley, I'm glad you like my work. I'm working on v0.3 right now, which will feature faster wildcard sorts, among other improvements.
I am planning to add a brief "Help" section to the in-game menu, as well. Miorg's pretty simple to use, so it shouldn't take much to explain it, but it can never hurt. _________________________ NWN1 Scripts: Miorg Inventory Organizer Switch-Based Secret Doors Suite

Thanks anyway its a great Idea!
