Description
Zunath's Structure System
Created by Zunath

Requirements for use:

- NWNX set up for MySQL or SQLite use (refer to Link for installation instructions for NWNX)
- CEP2

DESCRIPTION:

This player housing system is designed to give the player more choices than what is found in other housing systems.
They are able to freely build their own houses, furniture, etc WITHOUT the need for a DM to intervene. No longer will
you have to go into the toolset every time someone builds a house in your game - this system handles all that.

Players realistically build all furniture and houses. They are welcome to work together on projects to make the production process much faster.

All structures are completely persistent and all housing interiors are instanced - meaning a few areas will serve all your players.

Please refer to the attached readme for more information.

@MadDogFargo: They're fairly different. HunterAP's uses the Bioware database and functions differently. It does not have structure (placeable) creation. I'm a huge fan of his, but it lacked functionality I needed when I made this. Someone who has used HunterAP's system more than me might be able to give a more detailed comparison. :)

@Styxx42: To be honest the system needs to be rewritten. There's a lot of things that I should have handled differently. Redoing the structure system and including a Bioware DB option is something I want to do, but right now I don't have the time to work on it.

If anyone wants to take up the torch, feel free to do so. :)

Zunath I take it that you never did get the Bioware DB option enabled?

That is a shame this sounds AWESOME.

How does this compare to Hunter AP's System? I'm looking for something like it but instead of sizes I'm looking for different styles.

Very well done, this script has many possibilities to bring to a PW.

Chass, this thread is not for advertising. I hope you are not suggesting that Zunath stole this system from you, because all he got from you was the idea. I do recall him asking you if he could have a copy of your system, and you declined. Therefore he decided to write one himself, and personally, I'm glad he did, because his system is much better than yours anyway.

From when I worked with it, this is a good system just ignore Chass, this is not stolen I was talking with zun when he first started working on it. It is a nice system, and I hope it works well for everyone.

Wow! this is way better than what i was doing. one question though, could you tell me how to take the territory marker out of build options. i want to place them only in the spots i want. so a player could say buy a spot in town to set up a stall to sell items.
thank you again for this GREAT addon!

Thanks for the votes guys. As for a Bioware database, I will work on it when I get time. I've always used MySQL so it didn't really occur to me.

I'll let you all know how it progresses. :)

This is just what I have been looking for, but, Is there any way to convert this to the NWN Database ? I haven't the slightest idea how to MySQL :(
