This tilemagic system is designed to allow the builder the ability to fill an entire area with the basic types of tilemagic at whatever depth level they wish. This can be done during the build process . . . see code box below.
Further, DMs can use the included widget to change the tilemagic in any area, at any time, in any way they wish during a game session. The DM widget is designed to allow maximum control of tilemagic "on-the-fly".
I use this in my module in conjunction with Sunjammer's TileMagic System. Though the systems both manipulate tilemagic, they do so very differently. Together, these two systems add a lot of control for use of TileMagic. You can find Sunjammer's system at: Link

1.69 (w/CEP 2.1, FWIW): I had some odd behavior on Castle Exterior, Rural, with this. I was showing another DM how to use your widget and everwhere else it worked fine. However, in CE, R, the first and subsequent times I used it I got a strange "surrounded by eyes" visual and gong sound effect. Gong sound may have only been when I changed the height. Anyway, I removed all effects and went through all of them again. They all worked except water. Or, the one before water broke water, I dunno. It looked like it was working on subsequent invocations however it was sewer water that was filling the cliff hole, not regular water. Any ideas what might be going on? If you have problems reproducing this, let me know and I'll try to get you a better set of steps for it.
A 10, anyway! This is one of the coolest NWN scripts and it helps storytelling by DM's hugely. Would love to see it working with CE, R because that's my favorite tileset at the moment and could benefit greatly (*cough* incoming tide! *cough*) from water working w/it.

I haven't used your particular system yet, but if it adds more options for the original Tilemagic, it can't be that bad. I'd use it a lot more often on Athas Reborn if there were some kind of "Sand / Dune" tilemagic. Hint, hint :D _________________________ Heatstroke
