Description
Inhabited sarcophagi containing undead which will be disturbed if an item is taken from them by a PC.

This is a really simple system not dissimilar to that used in the crypt in Chapter 1 of Shadows of Undrentide.

Inluded are OnOpen, OnDeath and OnItemDisturb scripts for the sarcophagi, as well as an example sarcophagus with the scripts pre-set.

When an item is removed from the sarcophagus, the undead inside will come to life and attack the PC. The PC will also suffer an alignment shift (1 point to Chaotic).

You can change the treasure script (defaults to the standard NWN low treasure script) and the resref of the undead creature by changing the variables on the sarcophagus.

Thanks for the votes guys.

I've actually had this sitting around on my PC for a while, I just never uploaded it. I think I actually made this on a previous module too. Customising the alignment change and adding optional extra effects sound like good ideas, and something I may add in future, though of course anyone's welcome to have a go themselves. Iirc, you can change the visual effect on this version with a variable but don't quote me on that.

Kenlamella, I haven't got any plans to add a demo but it's something I might do if I get around to it, I'm kinda busy on NWN2 atm. Also, if you like this you should check out my Yellow Mold, it makes a nice alternative to plain old traps.

Very Cool!

I like the chaos shift, great idea...

Other possibilities: Allowing designer to set Chaos-Shift and Evil-Shift vars, Adding a sound effect variable, andding a spell effect variable for selecting spell effect such as curse or doom (and the like), and a local var to specify different treasure scripts :)

Dear Fred,

Where were you six months ago? I could have really used this then. :) Thanks for making this. Would it be too much to ask to make a demo mod with this hak? I feel the demos really help. If not, no prob. It's still a 10.
