This quick erf-file fixes the bug with Valen's romance not going past stage 5 in Hordes of the Underdark (Chapter 3). Simply import this erf-file into BioWare's module for HotU chapter 3 (instructions on how to do this included with the file). After this you can replay Chapter 3 and also get the last bit of the romance dialog. ^_^

Thanks to Mockery for that. Had to reinstall everything cause I had to have my comp wiped out T_T but when I got into "other modules" where that "Heir to be Human" or whatever is, I see "Original XP2_chapter2" and "Original XP2_chapter3". Resorted to asking for help to rapidly. Work around via opening XP2_Chapter3 with the toolset, instead of the other way around. (Open, open with, browse, C:/Neverwinter Nights/NWN/Toolset, in case it may help anyone else.) Looking forward to trying the mod. Thank you.
I'm having a problem installing in that when I open the toolset, and try to open XP2 Chapter 3, I can't. Only XP1 Chapter 1 and XP1 Interlude are visible. Most vexing. Can anyone explain/solve this for me? I'd quite like to try this out.

First, from what I can tell, BioWare did not fix this issue yet.
Secondly, whether you have to restart the third chapter depends on where you are or, more importantly, what Valen has talked to you about. If he already talked to you about feeling his blood rebelling then you�d have to go back to a point before that at least.
The difference is that after he talked to you about that you�ll get an option to talk to him again (which you didn�t before) where you can talk about the future together.
And as for not seeing the third chapter in the toolset, that�s likely because you haven�t finished that chapter yet so the toolset hides it from you to prevent you from accidentally spoiling it for you. One way to fix this is by setting the �password� in one of the ini files (can�t remember the details offhand). Another way is to copy the chapter three module to your modules directory, rename it to .mod and then open it as a normal module. After the fix copy it back, change the extension back again and play the chapter.
I just had a thought though (don�t know why I didn�t think of it before)� you could probably just put the script (the files in the erf) in the override folder without needing to change the module at all. Hmmm. Will have to try that.

I don`t know why but Valen`s romance doesn`t work properly even in Chapter 2. The dialog 4 never starts. And the bug in Chapter 3 remains. The 1.62 patch cannot fix it.
Is there a way to fix Chapter 2?
