Description
Allright. This is a little script (or rather a chain of scripts) that will create a rock that moves as if it was rolling. If you think that it's too fast / slow or blurry. Just change the time delay in the Rolling_Stone script. It's quite easy, looks (quite)alright, and i think it might be a nice alternative for a trap. This is more intended as a cool idea for people to change the way they want to, rather than being a 'import and use' script. Thank's to Kensai Ryu For the Rolling Stone taken from the '100 Outdoor Placebles'.(The stone is included in the ZIP) The test mod does not work without SoU, but the script works fine without. UPDATED: Scripts made into just one script (Makes it easier to import and use) The stone now deals the damage when player is hit. Makes it possible to try and outrun the stone. Let me know what you think. Cheers: Llaethias.

You can barely see the stone as it is coming down, it looks like you got hit by some almost invisible blur, it is kinda ethereal it seems. Also, it would be great if you could make a custom crash sound when the stone is done rolling.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 6 that made this score of 9.50 then rounded to 10.

This gave us an idea for other placeables. We're gonna try to make our boats move with this.

Cool thing, dude.

Thanks

If you want a bigger stone, try and download the "100 outdoor placebles". There are a LOT of neat stones there, and it was from there that i took this one.

If you want it to roll slower, either place the WPs closer to eachother, or change the time delay in the script.

Cheers: Llaethias.

This is a neat idea, but the stone rolls by so fast I had to run the demo twice just to see it. I wish it were a lot slower and took up the entire space of the hallway.

Thanx for some relly nice feedback :)

If anyone wants to use this as a trap it should be work just fine. The script is now updated, so that the stone deal some damage when it hits a player. The scripts are also put into just one script, so it's quite easy just to import now.

Cheers: Llaethias.

This is very nice. I have just put it in my most recent module and it works beautifully. The boulder looks very nice rolling along!
