Hey Fayde,
This song is really good. It is one of the first ones I have found that captures more the essence that I was looking for. Interestingly, I think it is the dissonance that keeps the listener on edge, reminding him/her that not everything is right in the world, otherwise they would not be on whatever quest they are on. I was looking for something that was more ominous, but this is good for another area I had in mind. A town where the heroes can rest, yet the haunting sound in the music is that gentle reminder that they have a task before them.
My problem is I can't download the song to use [or maybe that's the idea? I haven't tried it for music before]... lol... When I click on download, it opens another window where I can listen to the piece, but I don't see any way to save the file or drop it in a folder, etc... Maybe someone can help me with that? Do I need to have a download manager to control the file? Thanks for any help.
Anyway, good piece of music.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 11 that made this score of 8.37 then rounded to 8.

I think the flute sounds fine. Although it does sound out
of tune to our modern Western ears, that sort of dissonance
is not uncommon in historical or ethnic music practices. I
wouldn't change it.

I agree the recorder/flute sounds too crisp and sharp for a
reflective piece, and to me seems sort of offkey in the
middle. That's just my .02, my musical experience was in
vocals way back when, but the feel just isn't right.

Though this piece is much better then mine (Battle with
bahamut) it sounds like it has some inspiration to this
piece (snares, he ha hoo choir). It looks like I will have
to redo my Battle with bahamut :o) Great job Fayde.

I don't like the start...those horns sound...bad. It gets
better, but then they come back in the end. Good melody
though. Maybe you should try using another program?
