I thought there must be a clock in the background, but reading Ivor's comment, maybe it is footsteps. They are distracting. Otherwise, the music is entirely appropriate.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 7 that made this score of 8.71 then rounded to 9.

Well done. I thought the footsteps were a nice touch, but I feel you should not have them throughout the entire track. It felt kinda overdone. It would be better - I think - if you could have the footsteps come in and out, with reasonable pause in between. Just my opinion. Otherwise, well done.
