Here my first song,(simple background music) I wrote it with 'guitar pro 4' for my upcomming module Dark Messiah. It probably does not suit most areas but it would fit well for lonesome/mysterous areas. Everyone is free to use this. I hope you like it, if not please let me know.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 6 that made this score of 6.33 then rounded to 6.

I'd like to have some feedback on these "1" votes ive been getting. I happen to like this song alot. I really don't care about the votes themself. Its just that when a module builder who is searching for certain style of music stops by here and sees the low votes he wouldnt bother to download (:

Ick, aside from tabbing songs I write for my band, I wouldn't use guitar pro for anything other than a drum machine. Find a better program, there are MANY out there.

Not bad for a first try. Seems a little simple.

Thanks for your advice, I already tryed all the instruments in the program and I thought this one sounded the best. I now the guitar (overdriven guitar) is not medieval, but I thought it wouldn't matter for background music. I'll think I'll make my next one with medieval instruments like you sugested... or maybe a jazz guitar(:

Hi Maarten,
i think it´s a nice melody for your first song,
but i think this guitar you use is a little bit too
modern for this sort of music. is it a distorted guitar ?
if it is possible , try to use a g-string, cello or some strings for the bass line and for the apreggio instead a piano a nylon guitar or a harp. it´s only in my opinion.
best regards
