K i didn't make this but a great band Did and I can't even say the band right...But I used it in a starwars type mod as a battle Music..I think it's good for large battles with groups but for those who don't like Heavy Metal then i suggest you don't listen to this =P Well the song is around 4 minutes long and it's very heavy..for those slipknot fans...check this out...

Ok, let clear things out here: First of all, Slipknot are a bunch of wannabes, and not even worth listening at. But if you really have to categorize them, they're Nu metal. Nothing else.
Amon Amarth is Death metal. Some say Viking metal, and, well by the lyrics yes, but they're pure Death metal. NOT Speed metal.
Heavy metal is WAY to soft for even come near this.
Dimmu Borgir are Norweighan Symphonic-Black metal when it at it's best.
And last of all, Children of Bodom is NOT Black metal. Never was, never will be. They're a mix of Symphonic- and Heavy metal.

wtf Slipknot isn't metal - it's possibly closer to a death metal style to a bit of Thrash - Amon Amarth however Is a nice big mix of Death Metal and Speed Metal - Black Metal is not even touching this - Black Metal is stuff like Children of Bodom or Burzum

Amon Amarth is a very good band. They have like 5 full lenght albums, and a demo or 2. If you like Death in fire, you should definately check out the album because it rocks...the best song in my opinion in Vs. the world...

Amon Amarth are one of THE greatest viking death metal band I have heard. I have four of their five albums. However, I don't think that the music would suit Neverwinter Nights.
I can also appreciate that to some people Heavy Metal and Death Metal sound the same - but to a metalhead like myself - there is a world of difference.
By the way, Slipknot fall under the Nu Metal genre.
I agree that the only music that could suit any fantasy game is instrumental or atmospheric, and realistic to the time the game is set in.
I enjoy a few Slipknot songs, but I found this song hard to tolerate. The percussion sounded as if they were doing their own song altogether. If you enjoy that angry, almost do-anything-you-want to make rock type stuff, you'll like this.
I agree with Zed in that I find it would be unusable in NWN -unless you're a fan of the music in the "Under the Moonlight" mod.

This is a great stand-alone song, as I think it was meant to be, but it's not particularly NWN-based... nor do I think it's even usable in any module. Most (if not ALL) background compositions are instrumental. The only lyrics I ever hear are some faded singing of females, almost like Sirens.

To tell you the truth, i don't like Death metal but I kinda like this song.
I'd rather remove the vocals, that's the only thing i don't like about this track.

I took some time to write this and this is only an information. BTW I like that song :)
Slipknot is something, i don know what, but no metal.
