This was a track I did a while ago for a PW. Its a desert combat track, though perhaps some might find it a little too "epic" for your regular, run-of-the-mill desert fights. Its not very long either, but I felt like keeping it short.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Is still missing votes? :/ That said, the music player doesn't seem to contain that many songs, and i'm not sure if that's really all music thats on here. Regardless, nice piece
hey thunderxlightning - thanks for the vote and comments! As for the Baldur's Gatey-ness if you listen carefully at the start (in fact, at that point in the tune) the french horns which are providing the bass backing play the first phrase of the Neverwinter Nights tune. This was deliberately done to try and make the music fit in with the original score from the game (I was using both in the mod this was developed for). :)
Paladin_of_Ice - I managed to download it myself just now, is it something up with your browser? Drop me a mail if you're still having issues and I'll send you a mirror link.

Wow! I must admit, sounds very Baldur's Gatey...something about the first ten seconds with the vocals and high strings. Though, honestly, my absolute favorite idea in this is probably the rapid drum beats! _________________________ "Words, words, words..."

I wish I was a derivative so I could lay tangent to your curves. <~ from "nerdy pick-up lines" :] hahaha

For Some Reason, I can't DL sounds anymore! NO!!!

Excellent, I can likely use this. Too bad the darned server won't let me DL it. All it does is save a link.
This was quite an early track of mine and the main constraint I faced was getting instruments that sounded authentic. Unfortunately the only decent sound library I had (decent is a stretch mind you!) was an orchestral VSTi hence why pretty much every track I've made has been using a Western orchestra. I'd prefer that than trying to model my own Shehnai or Oud (and likely ending up with a synthy sounding hell :) ).
Currently i'm working with a load of Chinese instruments which has been really fun (the textures and playing styles are so different) but alas - nothing up on the Vault yet.

I hear you wanted to make it a little Arabic and I can't help but notice that you failed to accomplish that. However, I understand not everybody has to know how the music of middle-east is made. Among many others, you could add some wind instruments, it'd improve this work of yours greatly. It's still a good choice for those not-as-demanding-as-the-God people. _________________________ [...] And the world was created. [...]
This vaguely reminded me of the Heartstone Gem's theme from Icewind Dale. _________________________ No, I am NOT a Lotus Assassin! Those guys have scars and such, and at least I've still got some hair left.

Very nice! Even though this is a somewhat dated topic I was searching for music that would compliment the module/campaign (hopefully a good one) that will have massive battles but on a PC memory friendly way (some of them anyway) that I am working on and your music is by far the best I've heard concerning dramatic and inspiring.
Please email me instead of pm'ing me using my email in my profile cause I check that most often or message me with MSN if I'm on and I can talk to you about how I plan to credit your contributions in my module. Thank you! You've also inspired me to continue working on this project, despite the lack of time I have for it.

It was in chapter 5 of the Saleron's Gambit series, which makes ample use of custom music. A nice low-powered adventure, though the first chapter wasn't that goood i.m.o.
I'll have to check it out. Nice to know its been put to some use :).

It seems few people vote in here. Just thought I'd take the time to ameliorate that slightly.
I think this is a great battle theme, though I do not really associate it with deserts or sandstorms because I first heard it in Saleron's Gambit.
Keep up the great work!

Yes indeed nicely done, I never was good with music so I can only admire those who can :) _________________________ NWN2 stuff:
