This track is used in my upcoming console RPG inspired mod, "True Colors Of A Hero". Its a character theme used for the female lead, one whose innocence and goodwill struggle to survive in a wolrd torn apart by hatred and war.
Flute and clarinet take the lead, with backing from a full string section including harp. Theres also a section featuring a Pipa and a Daegum (the Pipa is a kind of Chinese lute, the Daegum is a sort of Korean flute).
It might be difficult to find use for it outside of a character theme, but I felt I should start sharing the more recent music i've been doing.
Look out for much more music from "True Colors Of A Hero" coming this way.
If you'd like to check out how the mod is coming along, take a look at -
@Navarthrin - Wasn't required to stop, it's just very difficult to find the time and drive to make such a big mod. I've released some of the content on the vault (there's the cookery system beta for instance) although I would like to release the other content too (again though, I need some time to tidy it up :) ).
Glad you enjoyed the piece and thanks to everyone for getting it into the Hall Of Fame! :D

Nice piece of music. Maybe a tad repetitive, but it's a theme after all.
Were you required to stop development, or was it a choice? Have you released anything else of your content here, or just the music? If not, would you?
werelynx2 - I know, it was all on course and going so well. The bad news was I had to give up development of the module. The good news was that it was due to me being hired by Lionhead Studios as a designer. 4 years now, 2 games - it's lots of fun, but it's tough trying to make games at home when you've been doing it all day at work. :)

Enchanting piece of music, but where is the true colors of a hero module? Community demands! :p _________________________ Thanks Rolo:)

This melody even returns to your mind the next day
Thanks for the comments and votes all, amazed this is still getting downloaded :D (scary that it's almost 5 years old!)

Can get a little repetitive in between but other passages are pure beauty. Thanks for sharing!

Not bad, though it's in my opinion a little 'overloaded' with all these different flutes. It'd use some sort of contrasting tune, some silent strings or drums. _________________________ [...] And the world was created. [...]

Definitely one of the best original musical pieces out there for NWN. This piece continues to touch me even after having heard it many times over the past year or two.
I know what you mean though - for one of the few pieces that I wrote that wouldn't loop, I could have done anything at the end and instead bottled out with a fade-out (not exactly the most exciting way to end a piece).
For the most part now I focus on making tracks seamlessly loop, but I should keep in mind next time I make a non-looping piece to make it interesting at the end. :)

Because I am a flute player, you had my attention from the first notes, but the ending felt weak. This actually reminded me of a ballad called "She's Like the Swallow", for some reason. I liked the slightly sad, but generally serene feel.

A perfect piece for a sad and dramatic scene. I used it tonight for just such a thing, and it had a big impact on my players.

Guess I should have saved the comment for the voting. It's worth two posts, though. Really nice.

Lovin' the music Clarkycat. This track works great as a theme for one of my characters. Great work and hope to see more from you. Thanks a lot for sharing!

Browsing through the CMP and voting on the tracks I really liked. This is my favourite of the ones by your hand. Very beautiful, very evocative. Do keep posting tracks, I for one will now be keeping an eye out for them! (and not for modules either, as my efforts in that direction have been... short lived.)
