One of a few songs Id composed for the upcoming module "World of Issig" by Daemon Blackrazor. Ive written the song for a harbour scene. Hope you enjoy it.
Cheers

I am so used to using freeware stuff I have found on the internet, and doing all of my soundfont stuff without even having my own soundcard on my computer, that i almost forgot how good true soundfonts sounded.
This is a very happy tune, It made me smile. Every composition I write happens to be dark, even when I try to make it happy. This is a very nicely put together tune, and I have nothing bad to say about it. _________________________ Snafe Composed: What is a game without music? Neverending Nights - A NWN Machinima

Thanks Clarkycat. If I find the time for your suggestions during the next weeks, I will give it a try and test it.
Thanks

Ahh, almost forgot!
At the point just before it modulates up, I think having the strings sweep in with the brass would help build it up to the change.
Thats all!

No comments? Criminal! Well....here goes!...
Super cheese monkey! (btw, thats a compliment from me! :D)
No, seriously, theres ample room for cheese in every roleplaying game, because it provides a stark contrast to the more common dark, disturbing moments and helps to throw the player about between the extremes.
I really like this. The melody and arrangement are great, and the instrumentation is perfect.
However, no good critique is without its negative points -
The (either Pizzacato or Spiccato?) cello (well, its kind of down there-ish!) is a bit dull at the start. I know its trying to build up to the melody, but I think a more natural use of dynamics, and perhaps a bass or something really buried underneath in the mix will really lift it.
Later on, when the spiccato (or is it?) ensemble come in, I think they're a little loud. Only a touch, but they do drown out the flute a little too much. Perhaps bring them down a bit and bring up the cello (and hopefully a bass too!). I think it'll sound a lot "fuller" then, and really work well when the trumpet comes in.
Good job! :D
