Imagine a peaceful grove of trees deep in the forest.

Enjoy!
UPDATE:
I have taken the advice given to me and re-did the version of this song. I decided the oboe really didnt fit in at all in a complete string orchestra, so I swapped it for a harp.
Enjoy!
thanks, that actually does help out a lot... I was trying to do it with audacity, but i couldnt understand what stuff meant. _________________________ Snafe Composed: What is a game without music? Neverending Nights - A NWN Machinima
heh, thanks for the vote. I am not too good at creating soft music... but I need to try to get better.
currently, I dont own a soundcard or anything and am using a program called Synthfont which i got from freewarefiles.com which allows me to get around using a soundcard, so I am not sure if I am able to do reverb on it, but I am just learning how to use it, this is only my fourth song using the program.
Thanks for the evaluation, it really helps me look at what needs to be worked on. _________________________ Snafe Composed: What is a game without music? Neverending Nights - A NWN Machinima

Well, it certainly works. Simple, but no need to over-complicate things. However, one or two issues that brought my rating down -
1. Reverb! The oboe desperately needs some reverb on it. The other parts could do with some too. Its the lack of reverb thats making that oboe sound like a casiotone on a NES game, which I assume wasn't the effect you were after. Easily remedied though. If you haven't got a reverb plug-in or a program that can do it (which is highly doubtful, but nevertheless..) there are many free and/or shareware plugins and programs to be found on the net.
2. Mix was fine, but perhaps it was the lack of reverb that made me think the oboe was a little loud. Not sure though. It'd only be a touch too loud, but i'll have to see if its still the same should you chuck some verb on there.
Also, the end of the track was a little disappointing, with just the strings left in to fade out. Perhaps add one or two of the other parts in as well? Perhaps the guitar at the start etc. It just sounded a little too thin to end on in my opinion, but hey, its just that - an opinion! :)
If the file is updated i'll be sure to re-evaluate my rating. :)
