This soundset.2da combines Toro's and Sander Philipse's voicepacks (28 Custom soundests in total), unlocks all Bioware NPC voicesets and fixes all Bioware bugs in the 2da (Minotaur and 2 female voices in male category) for NWN/SoU/HotU 1.67 without touching dialog.tlk.
The custom voices will be shown at the end of the voiceset list with the tag "Custom".
Bioware NPC and custom voices are separeted by gender, Bioware voices can be heard online by everybody, custom voices can only be heard by people who have the voicepacks and my 2da.
- copy all *.wav and *.ssf into your override directory and overwrite all the files.
- download my soundset.2da and copy it into your override directory.
- DON'T COPY ANY Dialog.tlk from these voicepacks into your override directory or anywhere else (they are from 2003/2004)!
Note: Some voices from Sander are a little bit too silent. This can be fixed very easy with the Windows Wav Recorder. Open the .wav files, turn up their volume by 50% or 75% and save them.
I agree...I can't hear the CUSTOM voices in game only on choosing can I hear them and yes they are too soft too hear. CAn you update this for 1.69 and maybe add a few more voices from the vault and also increase the volume of the voices and make it work in game...would love for you to do that...do that and I will vote 10 for this...otherwise this is just like every other voiceset (the ones that work). E-mail me if you do update this...I hope you do. _________________________ Imtherealthing

Scratch that, I was missing SSF files from Sander's pack. _________________________ -=Jaysyn=-

Some of these voicesets (Xan, Montaron, etc) aren't in the right WAV format to be used in NWN. _________________________ -=Jaysyn=-

Is it possible to get the metal golem voice activated? _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.
This didn't work for me either. All voices show up however if i select one of the custom voices i could not hear it in game. All other voices worked

Like Ash (aka Bruce Campbel) from evle dead and army of darkness and even the ranger that talkes abouit his hamster Boo. _________________________ You may be a King or a lolly street sweeper, but some day you all dance with the Reaper.
I cant seem to hear the sounds in game. I have followed your instructions. I can see Custom for choices is all and can not hear in game. Any ideas? I have put everything in override folder
Strange, perhaps you are trying it with a module which has it's own soundset.2da. I've tried it with a CEP module and with the OC and it worked.

It only shows up in the toolset. Followed your instructions to the letter. I already have all of the npc sounds unlocked, maybe that had something to do with it. I don't know. _________________________ Coen

It's made for PCs (Player Characters). You can select the custom voices at the end of the voicelist at character generation.

Just tried this out. Interesting. Too bad it's only for NCPs. Wonder how to make it work with PCs. Now that would be very interesting. _________________________ Coen
