This is a 100% original female voiceset, with no oaths to inappropriate deities your character probably doesn't worship, and includes 43 of 47 possible sound files. (Most PC sets only include 30 or so.) They are currently set up to be used in override, but you are welcome to rename the files and include them in your own work, so long as I'm credited for their creation. Simply extract the wav files to your override, and they will automatically replace the set "Female, Playful" at character creation. I have also included a soundset.2da file which unlocks all voicesets, but this is not required to use the Celtic Female voices.
Thanks for the heads up, Chance- the uploads are working marvelously now, and YAY! we can finally delete outdated files ourselves! _________________________ "There's no religion but time & motion-

Go to the Bioware Social Network and hit up Rolo Kipp by PM. You can usually find him posting under NWN1 Custom Content Forum. I think he's been the one helping out with the Vault uploads but he needs to know something is there and I seem to recall him mentioning that there were some uploads in the queue that had no indication where they were to be placed... something along those lines.
Well I have completely reworked the files, and named them with override replacement names, but now the vault refuses all content upload. I'm uploading the file to another server, and will provide a link, until I can figure out why I can't upload here. _________________________ "There's no religion but time & motion-

Thanks, Krit- I'll consider that, but my main objective was to provide raw material, and between writing scripts and actually recording them, then brushing them up and compressing them, I'm already investing more time in it than I should... To do that, I'd have to actually learn a new program, (which I suck at-I'm WAY not a tech head!) figure out how exactly it works with the various progs I'm already using, and then try to figure out how to work with 2da's and haks, and ... Bleh. I'm a voice. Others can be techs, I think... (I HOPE!!!)
Jezira- I TOTALLY agree! That was one of the biggest things that drove me to do voices at all! That, and voices that are ALL LOUD AND SCREAMY AND MAD ALL THE TIME... Or voices that have one or two good comments, and the rest are hopelessly annoying, and voices that are either TOO consistent, (character has only one mood,) or not consistent enough...
Heh. We all know there need to be more voices, and why, don't we. I just strongly hope that by doing a few, I can get others to do some more as well! _________________________ "There's no religion but time & motion-

Great to hear Kaotiqua ^^
Well if you want some requests, I am sure some people would love to have modern voiceset (or at least voice not invoking a god every 2 words :p)
Well, armed with that knowledge, and my new Xenyx preamp, I guess I'll re record all of these, mono, and cleaner. (I always WANT clean of course, but without a decent preamp, I was floundering.) Might change a few, and add a couple that are missing from the set...
While I'm on the subject, I'd be happy to do requests, or at least, attempt to, and certainly would appreciate input on the scripts, if anyone has any more to offer! _________________________ "There's no religion but time & motion-

Thanks for the input, and the vote! I did actually record them at 44, but I'm accustomed to recording for music, and most of my equipment is geared toward that. Compressing the sound without losing quality is difficult when recording at high res to begin with- plus, amplification is a major issue, thus often the clips were to quiet to be heard and had to be boosted after the fact. But any experience I can get in producing quality sound, but smaller and tighter will benefit me greatly. Thus, I do plan to record more sets, and your encouragement almost instantly certainly has helped!
As for the mono- THAT is why I couldn't get them to play in game! HAH! I was baffled, since I could select the voices just fine...

Nice voice acting ^^
The files could use a bit more work though. Like reducing noise and envelope, and converting to 44,100 kHz, 4bits mono wav (as bioware's). You'd reduce to 10 time smaller files without much hearable difference.
