It shows that you really know how to write for percussion. That is the field where I lack the most.
It is enjoyable to hear many different colors, it is nice to get away from the traditional sometimes... _________________________ Snafe Composed: What is a game without music? Neverending Nights - A NWN Machinima

Thank you for the comments peej0000. The piece was meant as a longer underscore rather than a 'song'. As a result there are areas that come down in activity and build up again to add variation in the density of orchestration. Nice to see that you are posting music again after about a year - I will have to go back and listen to your other pieces. I like this piece, particularly the low brass and strings, and the vocal "hits" that come periodically to add excitement. I also like the percurssion, but in my opinion, you could shorten the percussion-only sections or add some other instruments there, because I kept thinking of a drum and bugle corps when I heard those parts. I liked the beginning and end of the piece better than the middle section with the sax-like solo instrument-maybe it was partially due to the sound of that particular patch. But overall a very effective piece. _________________________ Ninja School -- a short NWN training and adventure module for young players.
