This download will override your traditional NWN music with that of Baldur's Gate I, II, and expansions. I also had to throw in a few Icewind Dale songs, since I was avoiding and repeats.
I went through a good few hours worth of time to sort out and find which BG songs would match the traditional NWN ones. This override is perfect for those BG lovers and would go well with the Baldur GUI override.
Credit for the song conversion goes to jesterb769. Thanks!
Installation: place all the files of this archive into the music folder in your Neverwinter Nights game directory.
(Standard location of the NWN folder is C:\NWN\Neverwinter Nights\)
Make sure you back up your old files first, however!
Not included in this sound override are the following:
Pirates of the Sword Coast Theme
Infinite Dungeon Theme
All Wyvern Crown Music

Fantastic! For some reason I find the original NWN music (even HotU, although that makes a general improvement) really unpalatable... being bland, unashamedly arrogant at times with no real sense of balance or the 'sense of wonder' aspect of adventure. The music from BG will always embody the character I associate with Faerun and its amazing how much a simple change in soundtrack can alter the general feel and enjoyment of the game (even the dire OC). Replacing some of the ambient chatter in cities and spell voices with infinity engine versions would make things even better (I think the NWN ones sound tinny and artificial, not to mention downcast and dull), but I understand that isn't really the scope of the mod (just something I rather fancy!).
