Title  Toro Winter Rural Override
Author  Toro
Submitted / Updated  04-06-2009 / 04-09-2009
Category  Terrain
Format  Targa
Description
This is just a little override for the rural winter tileset. What I did was enable sparse and scruffy looking grass for the roadside.
As a small suprise it seemed Bioware had a couple of grass enabled tiles in there also that were revealed when I enabled the grass for this tileset, namely the treeline.
This override contains 11 files: 7 mdl's (necesary for grass to show on these tiles) , a set file (using biowares own grass), and 3 road textures. (I'm kindof tired of the cork looking roads). As a personal choice, I decided against tracks on these.
Thanks to "City of Arabel" for putting up with my ongoing experiments and using them as my test PW.

It seems I may have used an out of date .set file, I can't be sure so I decided to update an err on the side of caution, My sincerest apologies.

Thanks a lot, Toro!
I love the looks of this, adds more realism to the rural tilesets, and easy to use, too!

The green rural override works with CEP 2.3 as well, but the winter version does not enable the grass. Does anybody have an idea how to make it work?

These are great, been using them for awhile. I now love all the snowy places our server has even more!

AGain Sorry for the inconvieneience. I could find no difference in the .set files I used but like I said above,, I'd rather be safe than sorry. Please re-DL for the correct set file.

I would agree to a small extent with Armor Draks.

Vinchenzo made a post here.
Plz check out my entries. I'm currently making a few simple modules, designing 3 special characters, and hope to someday be good this stuff.

This is Vinchenzo, finishing his post with the following advice:
Don't use Latin improperly (Lupis means grey, Rufus is red, Canid is dog, so on.) Furries annoy me with their improper usage of such. And I'm a furry!!! Ugh...
Don't vote for Beta things unless told they are finished, unless posted specifically by the author.
Don't abuse the vote and post function, don't vote for your own/friends stuff just to get a high vote. Don't flame vote either just to be an ass.
There is a voting system for how the points are used, even I forget, but we should follow it (and tattoo it to our forehead, lol)

looks good
but may be you'll better to use "frosted" or "snowed" grass sprite?

Love it. Small and simple but still makes the winter tileset look better. :)
