Well default gui is actualy all in one color and shade of gold and if you noticed not all elements is blue, some buttons and such are in white to stand out like you mentioned.

I think it is a very good idea, but a little rough. You see, attention to detail could have done miracles with this. The blue hue is ever-present in a single tone. If you check other GUI mods you'll notice they either don't change everything into a single color, making dual-colored themes that stand out, or actually have some different shades of the same color, to spice things up a bit.

A worthy effort, but I think it could be improved.
