I've seen quite a few comments around about tieflings and I realise that not all players might want to go fiddling around with editing utilities.
Since I've got such a tiefling sitting around in my localvault, I figured I'd scare it as some of the readers here might find it useful if they desire a more unique character.
Please note that in order to get the wings to work, I had to use an example posted on the Bioware forums. This is in the wingmodel.2da and should not be considered mine.
Installation: Simply unpack this 7-zip file using any 7-zip compatible program (www.7-zip.com) into My Documents > Neverwinter Nights 2. If you're not using the official 7-zip program, make sure that the program you are using has its 'unpack with paths' option enabled.

On an unrelated note: I've been considering uploading a crafter character for those who wish to have one.
I'm open to suggestions as far as the appearance goes (possibly Jacoby?) and I'd mod it to include +40 of all crafting skills and with all crafting feats included.
This would be for those who've completed the campaign and would like to start off a new campaign or module with a character ready to craft.
If anyone would be interested in something like that, let me know in a comment.
The Races of Faerun entry on Tieflings lists only some examples of features which can be attributed to Tieflings, because a full list would be exhaustive. It seems to make it clear, however, that a Tiefling can inherent 'one or two' of any fiendish traits, so the best way to get ideas for a Tiefling's appearance is to observe the features of various Fiends. On that note, several have wings. _________________________ Saerain
AramilAmastia, the problem with needing a feat for the wings is that none of the benefits of having wings (flying) would work with the NWN2 engine, since it's strictly 2-d combat. Since the feat would give you no benefit save a pair of vestigial wings, there's no point in having such a feat.
Kefrem - That's still missing the point entirely though, it's a matter of roleplaying.
If a person wanted to play this kind of tiefling, then the option is there for them to do so.
I'm almost tempted to toss in the feat to get this issue off my back but does everyone really want an extra conflicting dialog.tlk and a bunch of extra 2das (which would conflict with stuff like Even's 3.5 PnP and just about any class mod)?
I just took what I thought was the best route and whether people like it or not is up to them, really.
Further, a lot of people who're not so technically inclined had been asking about tieflings with wings and tails on the forums, that's one of the main reasons I uploaded this here.
So it's a matter of take it or leave it on its own merits, really but I didn't provide it without reason.
Well...i dont think tiefling was what they meant with the wings, there is a group called the Fey'ri. They are basically elven tieflings with more demon blood in them and they do have wings.

Hey ,Thanks for the response to my idea about the pirate boots ...do you know who can do it and make an override?

Well, it is a feat in the Races of Faerun. So I guess they can exist. Sorry for the mistake.
Though they aren't quite naturally given. You may want to add it as a feat.

Well, check out the Races of Faerun sourcebook. It lists many outsider, demon, and devil features, but no wings.
What would be cool is some rakshasa features: cat-like eyes, furry skin.

I only have one problem with this: tieflings don't have wings.
Good work, otherwise.
